Are there any home workouts I can do which dont make me sweaty?

I hate getting sweaty and needing to shower afterwards when I've already taken a shower. Are there any workouts I can do which won't make me sweat but will still help?

Exercise while in cold shower? Could do an exercise video and watch through shower screen?

Most the way I do them

You could do finger or toe exercises. I wouldn't imagine that breaks too much of a sweat 😄

I think many are being a bit cruel here. I found this also put me off exercise and it's much better to do something than nothing.
You could do a fast walk each day for 30 minutes followed by either stomach crunches / resistance band / yoga / Pilates and pick a different one each day.

Yoga and low impact you can get away with no shower and I am a sweaty monkey.

Getting your ‘steps up without sweating’ is a total waste of time. Seriously. Any cardio based exercise is meant to leave you sweaty & out of breath or there’s no point (unless you’re about 85 or recovering from injury or about 30 stone, in which case it’s better than nothing) For a regular healthy person, it’s not enough to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system & shift enough calories to help towards can’t weight loss.
If you don’t want to get sweaty, Pilates is your best bet but because it’s low impact & doesn’t shift many calories (average 150 an hour) then you won’t see a huge change. (Unless you’re doing 3 sessions a day) it’ll make you a little bit stronger & more flexible though.

Yoga?
Yoga leaves most people dripping with sweat. It's might look gentle as you aren't jumping around but it's damn hard work.

OP just time your works outs with showers. Eg if you shower in the morning workout before that. If you need to exercise in the evening a quick rinse is sufficient.

When I used to do hot yoga in the eve a 2 minute cool shower rinse and into clean, comfy baggy clothes was more than enough and I used to sweat enough to leave a beach towel completely dripping.

Pilates is great for toning and strength. As far as your hair goes, I just wear mine up and if it gets a bit sweaty you can use a dry shampoo afterwards, I personally just leave it up and don't wash it after a run unless it's due to be washed and then just have a quick shower to wash my body.

Darbs76 · 09/02/2022 06:17

Try Leslie Sansone on YouTube. It’s not difficult so you won’t sweat really but gets the steps in

Weight loss or building muscle or?

Highly unlikely that a workout with an effort level below sweating will do much more than tone muscles.

Weight loss is largely down to controlling intake and being in a calorie deficit in energy expenditure.

Building muscle takes actual hard work.

Your stuff about showering and washing hair sound like plausible elaborate excuses not to push yourself in exercise.
