A footballer Kurt Zouma (apologies if already been mentioned here) has been videoed kicking his cat and chasing it yet West Ham says they've condemned his actions and he's apologised.

AIBU to be disgusted with him?

foul foul man

It makes you wonder how West Ham would have responded to the Mason Greenwood situation.

It does.

This race argument is bullshit in this case. There are plenty of examples of white people abusing animals and getting their deserved punishment. It would have been no different if he was white.

He deserves sacking. He's fucking scum.

Mickarooni · 11/02/2022 23:39

@VladmirsPoutine

If he were white this would have not only blown over by now but the sponsorships would still be in place and this thread wouldn't be full of people calling for him to lose everything and hopefully get deported.
I’m more concerned about what his child has witnessed and the impact upon them to be honest, rather than pontificating about anything else. That said, it appears he’s playing football as usual so perhaps it is more a level playing field. 🤷🏻‍♀️
ilovesooty · 12/02/2022 00:08

Behaviour like that indicates he isn't a fit person to be around children.

Petition update: nearly at 325,000 on Change

Totally agree. The only facts that matter are the fact a person kicked a defenceless animal. It doesn't matter that he was a man, his skin colour is also of no relevance.

I'd say the fact he is a famous and talented sportsman is somewhat relevant, as he will be a role model for many people.

ilovesooty · 12/02/2022 13:10

According to the RSPCA no arrangement has been made by West Ham regarding animal welfare courses and they haven't received any donation either.

Trainbear · 12/02/2022 13:20

To all the antiWhite racists saying "this would not have happened if he had been white" look at the stooshie up in the wild savage scotchlands here about the rapist David Goodwillie playing (thankfully briefly) at Raith Rovers and his removal after a large outpouring of anger, rage and fury at a convicted rapist playing premier League football. Educate yourselves!

LuckyAmy1986 · 12/02/2022 19:12

@Trainbear I don’t even know what to say to that Confused

What worries me is apparently the children saw it and weren't upset. Most children hate cruelty to animals. My son would have been in floods of tears if he'd seen this.

This piece of scum (and his wife) must have already inured their children to see this as normal

ilovesooty · 13/02/2022 13:34

@KimikosNightmare I agree. That troubles me a great deal and I'm surprised it hasn't received more publicity. He's a safeguarding risk to children AFAIC.

From the Twitter feed...

West Ham United@WestHam·2m
Issa Diop will replace Kurt Zouma in the starting XI, as he is unwell.

Apparently he is unwell or maybe they have seen sense

ilovesooty · 13/02/2022 16:44

The team appears to be doing fine without him so far.

Boo fucking Hoo. "Unwell" my fat arse. Fucking frightened of being booed at by the fans again.
MayThePawsBeWithYou · 13/02/2022 17:12

Unwell, really, whats the matter with him, stress or anxious he will get booed again. Is this their pathetic way of getting rid of him without taking any responsibility. I expect they will pay him sickleave and therapy sessions.

TheOnlyMrsMac · 13/02/2022 17:15

They are saying he felt unwell during the pre-match warm-up: injuries/vision.

MayThePawsBeWithYou · 13/02/2022 17:21

You mean he got the collywobbles

TheOnlyMrsMac · 13/02/2022 17:47

And 'feeling sick' apparently. My heart bleeds for him.

caringcarer · 13/02/2022 19:28

RSPCA have taken both his cats away from him. I hope they are re-homed. West ham charged him 2 weeks wages £250k. His lost his Adidas sponsorship. Today he was supposed to be playing football match but got a very hostile reception at away fixture. Then he did not play and said he felt unwell. I hope RSPCA bring a prosecution against him and he is banned from owning anymore pets. I wonder how he treats his kids?

I think he needs to be investigated regarding his kids if I am honest. Anyone who thinks what he did is acceptable shouldn't have kids full stop. And to do it not only in front of them, but involving them?
caringcarer · 13/02/2022 19:38

France have now dropped him from their National team. Moyes still supporting him though.

DetailMouse · 13/02/2022 19:40

West Ham have messed up the PR on this so badly. Regardless of what you think about an appropriate punishment, they chose this week to post a picture of Zouma and Diops in training with the tagine "these two are always laughing" Confused

Whatever the real reason for today's absence, they could have said he recognises the storm around him and had chosen not to play or something.

Moyes' response has been (almost) as bad as the original act.

MayThePawsBeWithYou · 13/02/2022 19:49

Maybe they have to be seen to be supporting him to justify how much they paid for him. Glad to see France have dropped him and hope they prosecute him.

VladmirsPoutine · 13/02/2022 19:51

He's been dropped from France?
