Covid test for nursery

My daughter goes to a private nursery,
She's had a cough and we've been doing laterals daily but nursery wanted a pcr so I got her a pcr test.
It was negative and of course I deleted the results 🤦🏼‍♀️ (I delete my emails daily)
And thought that would be ok, it has been for both our work, school and the previous nursery.
They however wanted proof. (As if I'd take my child to nursery with Covid!!!)
So I said I didn't have any and I wasn't paying for the sessions they refused her entry to.
Aibu?

Oh and maybe if you phone the covid people they can resend it and then you can send it on to nursery straight away and then delete it?

YABU. You have to try really quite actively to permanently delete an email and a text so it can’t be recovered.

I did think this but then OP mentioned her OCD which can make you do things that seem like a lot of effort and perhaps strange to some.

@Suchamuddle

Would another option be to call 119 and ask if they can access her results?
They can resend the email
