Nothing to buy, weird awful acid colours
Rows snd rows of discounted crop tops. They’re on the way out surely?
I’m 39 - I have an event tomorrow evening
AIBU - Am I now too old for Zara?

I'm early 40s and I've never been in Zara. (I can't remember ever seeing one tbh) have I missed my chance? Grin

I have some absolute gems from Zara but it is very store dependent - some are really good: nicely arranged, good selection and others are like jumble sales with reams of £12 nylon tops strewed across the floor.

I’m 40 something.

I’ve got short legs and big boobs do it’s rarely been a place for me. I do have a jumper from there from about 15 years ago that is lovely, but nothing recent.

The last time I went in there the store lighting was so yellow I couldn’t tell what colour things were. I’m looking for cool tones, so if everything is tinged yellow I can’t tell if it is right.
If I held something up against me in a mirror I looked jaundiced. Couldn’t be arsed investigating further.

31 and have probably shopped there twice in my whole life. Think it's massively overrated. Some stuff from there can be nice but a lot of it is completely unwearable on on normal day. Never understood why it appeals so much and the queues for the changing room, at the tills and the general over crowded shops really put me off.

cherrytopcake · 03/02/2022 08:50

I went into Mango the other day and I think the clothes are similar to Zara but the shop was less cluttered, clothes were more spaced out, and... it was quiet. So in my opinion it's a nicer shopping experience to Zara. I was actually able to use the fitting room without queuing. Personally I'd say their clothes are doing a similar job to Zara and price is similar too so why is Mango empty and tidy but Zara is rammed and messy ?! I just wanted black jeans. Nothing too 'out there'.

I’m 41 and still love Zara!
