Have you ever seen a ghost/spirit?

Have you ever seen a ghost/spirit and if so, what’s your story? I’ll go first:

My grandad died when I was a toddler of a heart attack (I was in the same room when it happened). Fast forward to when I was about 6 I was staying at a family members house asleep in the bedroom and I wake up and he’s standing by the door and light switch. He turns the light on and stands there and I just go back to sleep. I was too small to reach the light and my family member confirmed she didn’t turn it on either!

I know your either in the camp of ghosts exist or you think we are all totally bonkers. 😂

I woke up in the middle of the night and there was a face in front of me - literally 2” from my face. It wasn’t a friendly face. I rolled away from it, turned the light on and there was nothing there. I’ve never slept in total darkness since and it’s got to have been 20 years ago. I’ve no idea what it was but it absolutely terrified me.

I never saw a ghost, never believed in ghosts or spirits - thought the whole idea was silly.

Then, when I was 17, I was out in the country at my friend’s house, and they were watching the most ridiculous, stupid “tv movie” (a movie on tv with tv actors) about this teenage witch. She was a 7th daughter of a 7th daughter or something, so she was really powerful & used her powers for bad.
Anyhow, we were all laughing & talking and the subject got onto haunted houses. They said they had a ghost - their house had two stories & was quite old, all wood.
Eventually, I had to use the loo - so off I went, laughing, and as I finished, I shut the light and closed the door and stood on the landing at the foot of the stairs. It was dark, and… and the doorknob to the kitchen door was gone.
At that very moment, I could hear clear footsteps coming down the stairs and I frantically felt up and down the door for the doorknob.
After what felt like about 30 minutes of sheer panic, there the doorknob was and I burst into their kitchen where everyone still sat laughing and talking.
I never told them I’d almost met their ghost, and I’ve never doubted anyone else, either.
I swear that doorknob was not there.

Holy crap I wish I hadn't started reading this thread when I couldn't sleep. It windy outside aswell and a tree branch keeps scraping in my window. 😬

Have a look on YouTube for 'ghosts on the underground', lots of stories from passengers and workers.

I'm going to give "Surviving Death" a go on netflix.
The post about the unfriendly face 2 inches away in the dark doesn't seem that bad thinking about it in the daytime but when u read it in the early hours while in bed in the dark My own fault for reading this thread in the middle of the night!

No. I have never seen a ghost or a sprit because there are no such things as ghosts or spirits.
