to really hate the word 'Nurturing'?

I have this convulsive adolescent reaction of eye rolling, lip curling and nose wrinkling whenever I hear (or read) that word used in a sentence.

I do not 'Nurture' my children. How sad for them. I merely look after them and love them, but obviously am a failure because they never get 'Nurtured'.

Access as a verb annoys me a bit.

OrmIrian · 27/12/2007 10:48

Quite agree.

Ditto 'actioning' and 'impacting on'. Oh yes...and what does 'gifting' mean that giving doesn't?
