Kids aged between 5 and 10. We are self isolating and very fed up. Any suggestions please?

Would I lie to you? Five year old might not find it funny but ours love it

I forgot about that. I love that! Is it rude or just innuendos?

It's rarely rude, the occasional inuendo and we are pretty strict. Would be happy to watch it with my parents/ in laws, that's a good test. My youngest just finds the concept pointless but the rest love it and it is often genuinely laugh out loud which is a good thing these days!

Series of Unfortunate Events, for girls I'd recommend Alexa and Katie and The Next Step

I’ve just shown my DC Peter Pan goes wrong and they were in hysterics, it’s so funny!

My 7 yo DD and i are working our way through (mostly cary grant) screwball comedies. Bringing up baby and monkey business a definite hit.

YY to Would I Lie To You! V popular in this house (DCs 10 and over) I love that it's a "clean" show and DC get to experience some great comedians. Recommend esp the Christmas special 2020 (with Jo Brand) and any episode with the wonderful Bob Mortimer.

For the 5yo, my DC found You've Been Framed hilarious at that age. Us grown-ups didn't laugh at the mishaps so much as at Harry Hill's brilliant commentary!

hangrylady · 13/01/2022 11:30

Mr Bean
You've been framed
My 11 year old loves Miranda as it's very slapstick she also enjoyed a rerun of Keeping up appearances!
The masked singer is on at the moment and it's great to watch as a family

Do nor let your children watch this crap for 1 it's a 15 and 2 I think Robert De Niro must have had a huge taxbill or something to make this horrible film!

EatYourVegetables · 13/01/2022 11:46

Wallace and Gromit. 3yo and 5you watching on repeated, shrieking with laughter.

I actually meant the War with Grandpa which is a PG and is really funny Grin
stressbucket1 · 13/01/2022 13:06

Our children enjoyed the beethoven movies recently. Ron's gone wrong and Encanto. Also junior bake off is great with Harry Hill presenting.

Knitter99 · 13/01/2022 13:07

Cheaper by the Dozen is my 8 yr oldest favourite right now

22itsallnew · 13/01/2022 13:29
