Do you believe you reap what you sow?

OP posts:

Nope

Letsallscreamatthesistene · 13/01/2022 11:54

I think 'birds of a feather flock together', so if you're a shitty person you're more likely to surround yourself with shitty people, thus making it more likely you attract shit, as well as giving it out. IFSWIM.

My friend grows wheat, so he's yes most definitely

Trippingslippingx1 · 13/01/2022 12:50

Nope I can affirm this.

My nicest most caring and loving friends always ended up fucked over and used the most by guys - a few just gave up and went onto have children on their own. All beautiful and successful woman.

The narcissist abusive men involved with them always seemed to land on their feet with a new woman and live an amazing life and have a picture perfect family.

The most controlling vile judgemental woman always seemed to land on their feet with men, jobs and money also.

I suppose this is what it seems like but who knows what happens behind closed door?

No. Some good people have an appalling amount of shit thrown at them.

Trippingslippingx1 · 13/01/2022 12:55

For example in my work place
There are 10 professionals
There are 6 ‘senior partners’
One of the ‘senior partners’ is 32, brilliant beautiful
And blonde with a loving personality. Only last week she was dumped by a guy she met on OLD and it transpired she was ‘dumped’ because he has not extradicted from his previous marriage. This seems to be a common theme for her and she seems to be smart, recognise red flags as best she can and do everything she can do.

One of the more junior members of staff is older than her, a stuck up bitch and is horrible to all the staff. Yet she is the one with the husband who thinks she walks on water, two children and a brand new range rover.

It makes no sense whatsoever. I am baffled watching this play out as a member if staff - much older and wiser
