And their ilk. Please settle a very important discussion for us:
they're like eating shampoo? Non? or Oui?

YANBU - shampoo
YABU - delicious

Love a floral flavour, delicious!

Justonedayatatime11 · 31/12/2021 19:08

Audreys do the absolute best of these. Not cheap but so worth it

Roselilly36 · 31/12/2021 19:30

I love them, my favourite chocolates. I also like Floral Gums too.

vodkaginwine · 31/12/2021 19:33

Awful! Like cheap, heady perfume. Absolutely rank. Liquorice falls into the same category.

Ashard20 · 31/12/2021 19:33

YANBU. I would also add cherry lips and floral gums. It's like eating soap!

WaitinginVain · 31/12/2021 20:09

They're my absolute favourite chocolates although I'm partial to any soft centre to be fair.

WhatIsThisPlease · 31/12/2021 22:08

I can't vote, but YABU

😋

It very much depends on the brand... I love rose and violet flavours usually, but kids recently bought me some cheap ones, as they saw them and new I liked them, so well meant! They tasted like soap!

Dark chocolate only... M&S, Fortnums and Charbonnel & Walker are the best IMO. I adore the sugared petals on top.

I love rose Turkish delight, rose pouchong tea, rose macarons and Parma violets too... also Creme de Violette and Creme de Rose liqueurs for alternative kir royales... yum!

RavingAnnie · 31/12/2021 23:17

YABU. Love them!

Thursa · 31/12/2021 23:36

Chocolate Parma violets? I’ve managed to completely miss that somehow. I do like the regular Parma violets, the wee chalky round ones.

Barcodescanner22 · 31/12/2021 23:43

We sell beeches rose and violet creams at work. We also have Parma violets and violet creams (that aren't creams) with a crumbly chalky consistency. I like all of these bit can't stand cherry lips or floral gums

diddl · 01/01/2022 16:27

Well I'm fancying trying them now but I'm not sure that they're available in Germany!

Looks like I'll have to wait until I visit UK again.

So where would I find them?

I'm guessing not AsdaGrin

Jellykat · 01/01/2022 16:31

Urgh! = YANBU

Newyearoldyou · 01/01/2022 16:42

Be careful, don't mistake fondant for cream

I adore them!!

Newyearoldyou · 01/01/2022 16:43

Diddl waitrose seems to have them seasonally.

Charbonel et walker do some.

I've yet to try fortums although the company Audrey choclate also do them.

Newyearoldyou · 01/01/2022 16:45

Just one day at a time!

I can't wait to try Audreys version!

AlpacaTheBags · 05/01/2022 19:49

I love them. They're some of my favourite sweets. I love all fondant creams including the much derided coffee cremes. I bought a box of ginger cremes today which are equally delicious.

XenoBitch · 05/01/2022 19:51

Parma Violets are vile! It seems like so many products have been poisoned by them lately. I have seen Parma Violet gin, and even beer. Gross!

Bellabelloo · 05/01/2022 19:51

DELICIOUS!

Talipesmum · 05/01/2022 19:53

I love them. They are, admittedly, a bit like eating shampoo, if it tasted as lovely as it smelt. But only in, er, a nice way?!

CrazySnakeWoman · 05/01/2022 19:54

I love violet and rose creams. They make me sigh with pleasure!

Parma Violet sweets are soapy weird things, though.

AlpacaTheBags · 05/01/2022 20:02

Parma violets are also delicious. Has anyone had the Swizzel's parma violet ice lollies? I really want to try them.
