Next sale … is it worth it?

Looked online and not that great but many years ago I lined up in a car park at 4am and it was worth it for the next sale …

Am looking to buy quite a lot of kids clothes and one is on near my home at 6am tomorrow… for the regular next shoppers these days is it worth getting up and going or not ? Thanks

Wouldn't go to store - I went once as a student to buy a half price suit for interviews, it was packed full of people ramming anything into clear binbags. Never again!

I tend to check for kids clothes and a couple of brands as soon as my VIP slot starts. The good stuff goes very quickly.

I work at next and the sale is crap. Especially this year! I’ve put some bits aside for myself but it’s hardly anything compared to previous years. For weeks leading up to the sale anything that’s returned to store (except the faulty items) are kept in the stock room ready to be marked down. So sometimes we get branded things that people have bought online and returned instore that are sort of half price so it can be amazing value there. We also get the crud from clearance stores though that just does the rounds til someone decides to keep it. Working at next used to be fun I used to help people pick outfits for weddings and days out, I used to see the same children come in for the next size up in shoes and clothes. Now I just process return after return after return.
So to sum up sale can be good. Sale can be shite. Definitely never worth getting up at 5am for 👌 and please don’t return £700 worth of sale stock the day after 😂

I got some good baby stuff this year in the online sale, they are nice and in and out of them so quick that paying full price is ridiculous, but the items were nice and good quality. The women's section was dire though sadly.
