Positive LFT or have I done it wrong?

Is this a faint positive line or have I done the test wrong? I’ve ran out of tests so now trying to scramble to get some more 🤦🏻‍♀️ Any advice is welcome. Thanks xx

Exactly. It's only void if there's no line at the C. No line at all = void Line at the T but not the C = void Line at the C only = negative Line at the C and the T, no matter how faint or debatable = positive (which is what the OP's image shows).

It's a faint positive. Ignore all the void test/flooded nonsense and get a PCR. The control line proves the test is valid and the positive line isn't always dark.

Just go and get a pcr. So many threads with people fucking about, is it positive, is it negative… I had a positive lft Monday morning. Booked a drive thru pcr for an hour later. Result back Tuesday lunchtime. Negative pcr. Why all the angst… if you think it’s positive get a proper test

It looks void to me - too much liquid or a drop went in the wrong bit. Do another one and report as void.

Oh sorry missed that. But no way is that test "clearly" positive as some posters are saying . There's just a smudge, not a line.

Do another one. You've put too many drops on the tester.
You've flooded the tester with too many drops. Should be 4 drops.

Looks positive to me you should isolate and book a pcr.

Doesn't look like the positives I have seen with a very crisp line, however you should just go and do a pcr which you'd have to do anyway it a lft is positive

No lft kits anywhere near here - just rang the nearest 20 pharmacy

Are libraries giving them out where you are? They are in our area.

My DH test looked like that and his pcr was positive

Looks positive but also flooded. You need a PCR - move on from is it or isn't it. I wouldn't keep doing LFT's, likelihood is you'll get a negative amongst them, because they aren't as accurate as PCR. I know people with 5x neg LFT but then positive PCR. Are you testing because you have symptoms? In that case you need PCR anyway.
