Discussion with DH tonight

He says it would only count as car sex if you pulled up in a field or something a la a character from a Jilly Cooper novel.

I say it still counts if it's parked up in the garage.

He's adamant that MN will support him...

Surely that's romantic, bubbles...?

What if you have all the family staying for Christmas and it's the closest thing to privacy in the house, but there's a chance that your Mum will nip into the garage to get some more potatoes?

Well that would certainly be living on the edge, kickass.

The point is the risk of getting seen/ caught etc. Some people enjoy that sort of risk( even if pretty certain won't happen).

Other reason is not wanting to because it's fucking uncomfortable but having no where else to go esp when too cold for outside. A classic for teens (where one got car can drive obv) still both living at home. Or was in my day!
It's a necessity rather than done because like either the discomfort or the risk.

Sex in your own car, in your own closed garage is not "car sex". Its just sex somewhere different in your home.

For it to be "car sex" you need to have an element of risk to it surely? I'd not recommend your own driveway, nor the motorway, but if the mood strikes you on a secluded lane somewhere....

It's one of those situations where it's sexy if there's the quicky risk to it, but if there's no risk then it's just really uncomfortable sex and you may as well be in your bed a few steps away and enjoy things.

It's the risk that makes otherwise awkward sex enjoyable. For us anyway.

YANBU, if you're in a car having sex then you're having car sex. It'd seem to me daft assuming you have a bed, though. But then I'm not one for going in different rooms for the sake of it etc.

It'd be sex in a garage though really wouldn't it 🤔, I wouldn't count it as car sex. Personally if I was parked in the garage I'd just go inside and do it on a comfy bed, I'm old and unadventurous now though 🤣

Well, it’s sex in a car, but it’s not car sex. Car sex has to have a slight element of danger at being caught by a passing motorist, or accidentally getting it on at a popular dogging location.

The thrill of getting caught makes up for the discomfort of having to contort your legs into weird positions.
