Carrie timed this nicely

Or, why not just resign snd be a stay at home dad?

AmIgoinghomeforXmas · 09/12/2021 15:00

He is an absolute disaster of a PM but having had yet another child the least he can do is spend some time with her and her mother.

Justheretoaskaquestion91 · 09/12/2021 15:01

@AmIgoinghomeforXmas

0 sympathy for Carrie. She knew what she was getting into.

Bollockstothat · 09/12/2021 15:13

I thought MPs don't get maternity leave...isn't that why that lady brought her baby into the commons the other week? So why should Bozo get paternity leave?

It would be leave from his job as PM not from his job as an MP, though I doubt his constituents would notice if he took leave from now to the next election. There's no maternity/paternity cover for MPs - no-one can step and do their job when they're not around. But country is blessed Hmm to have the delightful Dominic Raab as deputy PM who can do the job/fuck up the job at least as well as Johnson.

Grow up

SparrowBird · 09/12/2021 15:26

Not really in the spirit, this thread, is it?

SexyBoris · 09/12/2021 15:36

God Will people get off his back! His wife has just had a baby, he’s entitled to time off!!

Hellokittyninja · 09/12/2021 15:41

Someone said that to me when I was pregnant during a redundancy process - after multiple losses. OP YABVU.

Lottapianos · 09/12/2021 15:44

'It’s seen as modelling good behaviour to other men I suspect to take some time off when a baby is born'

God yes, he's all about being a great role model Grin

GreenLunchBox · 09/12/2021 15:46

@TheLovleyChebbyMcGee

Its perfect timing, a little too perfect, just like last time!
What was going on when Wilf was born? I can't remember
the80sweregreat · 09/12/2021 15:50

Wilfred was born not long after Boris got out of hospital with covid and was in ICU!
April 2020.

StoneofDestiny · 09/12/2021 15:55

Yes - let not mention his lying, cheating, philandering ways, or his racist, sexist attitudes, or his mishandling of the Covid Crisis, or disastrous Brexit or the HS2 fracas. Heaven forbid we mention his support for the unsupportable like No 10 Parties or Cummings 'trips'. And of course it's unspeakable that his 'dress up in costume' politics does anything other than embarrass us all. The Union Joke shown at every turn just associates the flag with the Tory Catastophies and can't be taken serious again. Yes, just 'get off his back' and all will be well.

StoneofDestiny · 09/12/2021 15:57

'It’s seen as modelling good behaviour to other men'

Yes - Boris Johnson is a great role model for other men 😂😂😂😂. He cannot even tell us how many kids he actually has........a shagaholic shambles of a man

sunshinesupermum · 09/12/2021 15:59

it's a well-timed elective section.

I did wonder that too - in hospital early this morning and baby born almost immediately afterward?

You jealous that he hasn’t shagged you?
CorrBlimeyGG · 09/12/2021 16:01

Not really in the spirit, this thread, is it?

I'll save my goodwill for everyone that has lost loved ones while Johnson pissed about.

Samcro · 09/12/2021 16:06

glad the baby is ok. but can't get all joyfull over a man who doesn't seem to car about anyone but himself having yet another child.
and why do people call them Boris and Carrie like they are warm an fuzzy people. surely the PM and his wife would be better.

Hospedia · 09/12/2021 16:06

You jealous that he hasn’t shagged you?

Jesus Christ, could you imagine that slithering away on top of you? I bet his pillow talk is as waffling as his speeches.

madisonbridges · 09/12/2021 16:06

I don’t think he should take paternity leave

Then you'll be happy to hear he's not taking paternity leave. He's still working on his red boxes but he will spend some time with the new baby.

Chance would be a fine thing
MsFogi · 09/12/2021 16:11

@GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing

I expect it’s not official paternity leave, as he’s not an employee as such (as I understand it)

It’s just “some time off”

It’s seen as modelling good behaviour to other men I suspect to take some time off when a baby is born

Indeed - just like it is okay for him to go to Peppa Pig World mid-week.
Hospedia · 09/12/2021 16:14

Chance would be a fine thing

At the rate he goes, we're probably all in the queue and just don't know it yet.

God I wish!
Toty · 09/12/2021 16:24

I don't care if he takes paternity or not, I do find it weird how society has just normalised all these old men continuing to procreate with younger women though. I find it nauseating. If women were having babies at his age society would have plenty to say about it.

Mayorquimby2 · 09/12/2021 17:02

The lying about not knowing who paid for his refurbishments is in the past, move on ffs.

Wait, which story are we talking about again
