Rishi and Liz Truss are favourites of course. On the basis that the Tories seem to love Liz Truss and she follows in Boris' tradition of not having any fucking clue what's going on, but trying to bluff it out by believing her own propaganda.

I wouldn't underestimate Sunak, he's probably desperate to get out of the Treasury before it has to pay for all the COVID furlough/loan schemes, etc. I'm sure he'd like to be seen as handing money out, not paying it back via higher taxes

Johnson seems teflon-coated, I have no idea why the Conservatives keep him when he's a complete disaster.

I think that the major players are waiting to see if the NHS cope in January after the inevitable Christmas mixing. Nobody is going to follow orders this year and that could mean a difficult January.

I don't think Liz Truss will become Tory leader. Double standards about private lives of men and women still exist.

I saw that yesterday. Awful. Ever so politely haranguing that young woman for being in receipt of housing benefit. I believe the BBC had to issue an apology afterwards.
