The latest legislation which gives the government the right to strip someone of their citizenship with no right of appeal. Imagine if they fuck that up!?

The latest legislation that hands private companies a seat at the table of running the nhs. They should have no say in how the nhs is run.

I’m confused - I thought her mock press conference was in case journalists asked questions about parties. She didn’t say there had been a party did she? It was a rehearsal for questions and they were joking about.

There was a party and she was practicing what to say if it was leaked.

She confirmed that there was a party and that it wasn't socially distanced, and she found it hilarious.

I know she's not to blame and it may be irrational of me, but I just kept thinking of poor Arthur Labinjo-Hughes, and how when his uncles tried to report his abuse to the police they were told they would be arrested if they broke lockdown by going round there.

Nothing to do with Allegra Stratton, not her fault......but to see people laughing about flaunting lockdown rules when there are real people like that suffering is just horrendous.

I'm not usually a Tory basher and there's a lot about the pandemic that I'm very forgiving about because, you know, unprecedented situation and all that, but things like this (and the millions of GBP which Boris gave to his cronies for PPE contracts that came to nothing) is just too too much.

This has to stop. They are turning this country into a laughing stock. At best it's utterly humiliating, but the truth of it is that people are suffering and dying due to their cronyism, stupidity, ineptitude and greed.

Agree; it was an absolute embarrassment.

She was getting money for nothing. And sadly she is very likely to walk into another overpaid role.

She apparently went for this job but was dreadful in the interview process. Because Boris and Carrie Johnson like her they pushed for her to be given the job anyway. She never actually did it as she was so awful in these sessions and was moved to COP.

I used to watch her on Preston, she was dreadful on that too!
