I can't find a fresh one. I've always bought fresh but can't order one and having a minor fret. I can find a fresh whole one for the price of a small bungalow but cannot pay that. What do you all do?

Last few xmases we've got our turkey from Iceland (frozen) and it's been fantastic! You can cook them from frozen too (just takes a much longer time).

Thanks to mumsnet for changing my title and hopefully making me sound less of a snooty cow which i am not. I promise.
I'm sold on frozen but now need to measure my freezer drawer and see if it will fit. Second option is a frozen smaller joint plus a ham which I think is easier to get without ordering.
I was quizzed by my sister this afternoon about the Turkey and breezily said "oh it's all sorted!" She has autism and learning difficulties and likes to know what's happening and when, plus where everything is from and will be often found reading labels to check ingredients in the kitchen.
