To tell you that I just tied a Greggs vegan bake

Why can't they actually make a nice vegetarian based filling? Grated zucchini or pumpkin with spices, even cabbage fried with onion, garlic, salt and pepper would make a fantastic filling that's not meat based. You don't need some awful meat substitutes at all.

The festive bake is gross vegan or not. The veggie pasty from Gregg's is nice

It would be harder to make en masse and to cook and keep warm without it turning to a damp mess. I absolutely agree those type of fillings would be amazing, but man-made food is more predictable and easier to manage in a place like Greggs. I didn't think the bake was toooo bad, but then didn't have high hopes as even when I ate meat didn't think the food was that nice!

I went into a Greggs for a vegan sausage roll recently but they hadn't got any so the assistant suggested the vegan festive bake.....never again. It was disgusting
