I’ve been feeling rotten for a few months, awful fatigue, unbearably tired, feeling very low, and anxious scratching on my arms which I’m now using steroid cream for 🙄

Finally decided to call the GP as I was convinced I was Peri menopausal. I had all the blood tests done & it turns out I have anaemia caused by low levels of folates.

I’ve to take 5mg of folic acid for 4 months as well as increase high in folate foods

I tell my husband what the results are, and the first thing he says is “I bet that’s what I’ve got” 😡😡😡

This isn’t a new thing, every tickle of my throat turns into a full on throat infection for him, every sneeze turns into the flu. It’s all totally in his head of course.

Does anyone else’s partner do this? It’s infuriating! He’s not once mentioned that he feels fatigued or that he’s so tired he can barely function. Oh no he manages to drag himself out for those 10k runs a coupe of times per week no problem 😤

My mum is like this - if I eve have a small ailment, she also has it plus something else so that she is "worse" - I try to avoid saying anything now.

I can’t stand “competitive illness”. It’s so annoying.

Tell him if he really thinks he has anaemia, he needs to book an appointment to see the GP and get a blood test. Bet he doesn't.
