@Laiste

See now - i thought skinny jeans were 'out' and so yesterday ....

Not in this house, and not in lots of others by the looks of it Grin

They seem to be out in the fashiony/trendy circles and will young teens but must shops still sell them and most people are still wearing them.

I was in London on the weekend and most people I saw were wearing some type of skinny jeans. Men and women.

@MissRainbowBrite

The M&S ones are brilliant, £15 a pair in loads of colours. They're high waisted and always stay put.
Yup have both their blue colours and the lovely deep green

@MiniPumpkin

Great I’ll give m n s a go then, are they true to size ? I don’t buy from m n s but I hear sizing is generous?
I'm a 14. I buy 16. My mum is different shape to me and also 14. She also buys 16. I get regular length and just skim my ankles
Laiste · 26/10/2021 14:08

I buy the long in M&S. I'm 5' 5'' so not particularly tall but i like my ankle bones covered plus a bit, just in case they ever accidentally go in the dryer! I fine they always shrink a touch.

iwanttobeonleave · 26/10/2021 14:12

M&S for me too. I must have 12 or more pairs!!

I've dyed them as the eventually fade but last forever otherwise, and fit v well.

GiltEdges · 26/10/2021 14:18

Spanx ones are very good, if a little pricey. I used to have a couple of F&F pairs which were also great, but not been to a store in a while to be able to replace them, so not sure if the quality is still the same.

Nat6999 · 26/10/2021 14:20

Next jeggings are lovely, zip & button fastening & belt loops just like normal jeans. They fit well & are just the right length.

itsgettingwierd · 26/10/2021 14:47

Never I liked the look of their deep green ones. Are they a forest green type colour? I have various hoodies in charcoal and grey as well as a pink ones. I was thinking the green and grey would go well?

They go with my deep pink ones and I fancy the plum/ purple too!

Plus a pair of black for that staple wardrobe - can dress up or down - look!

TheFlis12345 · 26/10/2021 14:55

Another vote for Uniqlo, so comfy and great quality.

AudacityBaby · 26/10/2021 14:58

Following with interest. My bugbear is plus size jeggings, as it seems like someone decided that plus size people have ankles as wide as their calves. Gives that lovely baggy elephant ankle look. Envy I like the look of the Very ones, though.

Oh same - I'm always hunting for jeggings and skinny jeans that actually taper at the ankle! I have slim legs for my size and most are baggy.

I thought so too but then realised that “flappy” jeans made me too cold and got too wet when it rained. Also none of my boots went well with them. Then I realise I didn’t really care about trend and wanted comfort more!!

Yes a deep green. The fit is like the black ones not the blue ones. But very nice - I wear with a maroon coloured top for work for a change from black !

Cheap and cheerful but I am in love with Asda's jeggings! Great fit and very comfortable.

I can't cope with bottoms and zips because of some mobility issues but these are so easy for me. And they look good too.

Iwishiwereamillionaire · 28/10/2021 14:22

After reading this thread I tried on the m&s jeggings, they were awful on me, I looked dreadful in them plus they weren’t particularly soft and looked cheap. Then I tried the uniqlo ones and wow the difference! So soft and comfortable I’m a convert!

StarryNightSparkles · 28/10/2021 14:34

The only ones I have found to be really comfortable are the jeggings from Matalan.

shouldistop · 28/10/2021 14:35

Love leggings do quite good ones. Or gap.

nannybeach · 28/10/2021 15:13

M &S around £15 perfect fit

Lasair · 28/10/2021 15:40

Spanx ones are brilliant but cost between 80-100 quid

emmathedilemma · 28/10/2021 15:56

I have some great ones from Asda which were only about £12 and they've worn really well although they are about to wear out but I can't bear to part with them as they're so comfy!

Hawdyerwheesht · 28/10/2021 16:13

Tesco - with zip and button, not faux ones. These are great.

ChristmasFluff · 28/10/2021 17:37

Roman jeggings are amazing - so stretchy that I have 3 different sizes and can wear all of them!

But they look jeans enough to wear with sparkly tops to go out at night.
