For those that can’t see the video.

Woman comes out of Victoria’s Secret to a load of rowdy football fans obviously interested in what’s she’s bought.

After some encouragement she pulls her purchase out of the bag & the response is a huge cheer.

It just looked very intimidating, almost like she had no choice but to play along and show them or else it might not have been such a friendly crowd to walk through. AIBU in feeling she didn’t really have a choice? Maybe it’s just my life experiences that made me feel really uncomfortable for her. The comments on the video are all pretty positive which really surprised me.

@Sofiegiraffe

I don't have tiktok either but OP's link worked for me ...
And me. She didn’t look uncomfortable to me, certainly not when she took her purchase out of the bag and waved it around above her head

It looks like it's right next door to a pub which had a match on and fans were spilled out in the street. I guess anyone going in that day felt it'd be like buying underwear in front of school boys and was either not bothered or turned and came back another day or selected another shop to buy pants.

She looks very amused. She waved purchase almost immediately upon exit. Looks staged. Everyone is cheerful. They're glad she has these things in her life.

I disagree with a few things posters have said.

I don't think it is staged. My guess is the reason it might look rehearsed is probably because she, the crowd and the cameraman all knew what was going to happen, because something similar had played out with previous women exiting the shop. Knowing what to expect from the crowd, she played up to it.

She was actually encouraged to show what was in the bag. When the camera pans away then comes back to her, she's allowing a few nearby men to look into the bag, it's after that she waves the contents around to the crowd generally.

The crowd was clearly good-natured. Lots of people would have been uncomfortable just for being the focus of so much attention, if nothing else, but she seemed fine with it.

@OuchWhatWasThat

Some pathetic pick-me.
Women like this really don't do the rest of us any favours, do they?
CecilieRose · 24/10/2021 12:41

To clarify, I mean pickmes, @OuchWhatWasThat!

Men are gross.
The words "generalisation" and "sweeping" spring to mind.

Okey.
