Party bags dillema

Sorry, not sure where to post this but I need some advice re party bags for my 4 yo b-day party.

Her b-day is two days before Halloween and I was wandering around the shops today and thought maybe I can get the kids Halloween buckets instead of regular party bags and fill them with (healthy) treats. The buckets are made of plastic, but they are nicely made and of course reusable. Would this be acceptable and not too far from the standard party bags everyone expects?
@Hoppinggreen How long did she take to fade!?
Completely?
About a week, would have been quicker if we had scrubbed her more I imagine

What about decorating gingerbread pumpkins, leaving them to set and then sending them home with those? And maybe a glow bracelet?

You can buy a set of 4 gingerbread pumpkins with icing and sprinkles in a little kit for £1.80 in Tesco

Love the decorating gingerbread during the party idea.

Please no glow bracelets. Again, just more plastic tat to be used for an hour and then sit in landfill long after we're all dead.

Thank you very much everyone, it's been very helpful.

I decided to go for paper bags, not completely sure what I'm going to fill them with but definitely nothing made of plastic :).
