To think Squid Game was very good?

I just found it the most tense and gripping thing I've seen for years!
The characters were interesting. The tug-o-war game...amazing tv!

The violence isn’t even that bad IMO . It’s obviously fake blood and gore. Ive seen hell of a lot worse.

The violence in the Game was quite cartoonish. The violence in the characters'real lives was more disturbing imo.

Episodes 1 to 5 were good. Episode 6 was excellent (although later a bit ruined). Episode 7 through 9 were so-so.

I didn't enjoy the twist, I don't feel it added anything to the story and actually cheapened the emotional impact of episode 6

The VIPs were awful. Didn't add anything useful to the story or further the plot, their part should could have been silent. Terrible script and acting which really ruined the whole episode. Also I didn't like the game in that episode as I felt it was very unfair - impossible for the first 10 or so contestants to even stand a chance of winning.

The final game was also disappointing as they didn't actually "play" the game, it was just a knife fight.

Overall I would say "good" but with some excellent moments and some really rubbish moments.

I don't think the VIPs were suppose to add to the plot. Just the overall picture of the bottom and the top in the society. Or maybe I am doing the "what did the author mean by writing the door were red" thing here 🙈

Thought it was brilliant. I've been getting lots of TikToks for how to make Dalgona candy and am considering it for a Christmas game

I couldn't bear to watch people enduring so much but was fascinated by it.

I watched the first episode which was incredible, especially the last slow-motion bit set to music. I then bottled it so watched this handy episode recap on YouTube!
