To think Squid Game was very good?

I just found it the most tense and gripping thing I've seen for years!
The characters were interesting. The tug-o-war game...amazing tv!

The violence isn’t even that bad IMO . It’s obviously fake blood and gore. Ive seen hell of a lot worse.

No it's not just you. It's absolutely crap and makes no sense! It's just been massively hyped up and the sheep follow the hype

I enjoyed it. Apart from the end with the red hair. I mean... wtf?!

Was also annoyed at finding the main character attractive towards the end because he was still essentially a deadbeat dad who would do literally anything rather than visit his daughter.

But yes. Fun. Gruesome. Intriguing.

It's amazingly diturbing because I can totally imagine something like this happening.
There is something about it I can't put in words which just... I don't know... Made it play on my mind and actually concentrate on the tv for once.
Just can't explain what it is.

My dad watched. He watches quite a lot of Korean made series. He recommended it to me but said it was really violent. I didn't find the violence that bad. It was so over the top. I am far worse when it's really realistic violence.

But I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be watching more of dad's recommendations.

I can't believe that adults are behaving like kids in the playground now. As a nation - as a world - we've lost the ability to think clearly and independently. We're being programmed in a myriad of ways to follow the crowd and mindlessly follow - like sheep.

I really enjoyed this show all the twists and turns in it and it was sad in places, the violence isn't too bad as for the end where he dyed his hair red I read it was to show his anger for all he went through in the games.

It's fine. Didn't blow me away, it's similar to many other movies/ series of the same genre with Korean television. Was an enjoyable watch, but not life changing or utterly gripping.

Episodes 1 to 5 were good. Episode 6 was excellent (although later a bit ruined). Episode 7 through 9 were so-so.

I didn't enjoy the twist, I don't feel it added anything to the story and actually cheapened the emotional impact of episode 6

The VIPs were awful. Didn't add anything useful to the story or further the plot, their part should could have been silent. Terrible script and acting which really ruined the whole episode. Also I didn't like the game in that episode as I felt it was very unfair - impossible for the first 10 or so contestants to even stand a chance of winning.

The final game was also disappointing as they didn't actually "play" the game, it was just a knife fight.

Overall I would say "good" but with some excellent moments and some really rubbish moments.

I think 15 is about right. It doesn't have a lot of swearing and the sex is pretty mild, I don't think they actually show anything? Obviously very violent but I wouldn't say its gory, mainly shooting.

Wish I’d watched it on subtitles rather than dubbed. Really enjoyed it!
We watched a couple of minutes dubbed and then changed to Korean with subtitles. It changed the whole experience
