We have lost a box of Hotel Chocolat

Just that really. It was one of those really large selections for DJ's 50th.

He hid it from the dc and now we can't find it anywhere.

AIBU to be upset about this (lighthearted)?

Under the bed?
On top of the fridge?
Under the sofa?
In a sideboard?
On a bookshelf?

Behind the ironing board?

All of these places have been ransacked - no joy

Under the sofa cushions...that's where I found my dads after he'd died. Gotta laugh.

Do you have a cupboard either with things like put of season clothes, or rarely used kitchen stuff? Those are both places I might have stashed something I didn't want to eat right now...

We lost a tub of celebrations last Christmas, found them in February in DH's car that he swore down he'd checked in.

Cupboard under the stairs
Slid between two towels in the airing cupboard
Under the tree skirt in your wardrobe (that’s where I’m currently hiding a packet of pork scratchings and daim bars)

Freezer?

Under the bed? Bedside unit? In chest of drawers but under a few layers of clothing? On top of the fridge?

Cupboard under the stairs is where I'd have put them. Or yeah, more likely eaten them and wiped the guilt from my memory...

They will be in the wardrobe, exactly where you thought you hid them. One day you will reach in and there they will be. It doesn’t matter if you empty the wardrobe completely in the meantime, you will not find them until they are ready to be found.

No idea but I hope that you find them intact. I love Hotel Chocolat.

It was the spiders. They got them.

DH lost his very expensive sunglasses. Looked everywhere for weeks. I bought him some identical replacements for his birthday. Two weeks later he went to put them in the sunglasses compartment in the car but there were already a pair there 🙄 so look in the most obvious place is my suggestion.

Your kids have definitely found and eaten them then hidden/binned the evidence

They were still in a long cardboard box. We had an excited moment when we thought we'd found them the other day - but it was just another of dh's many gadgety Amazon parcels...
