Aibu to expect people to wear masks on public transport when TFL say it's mandatory?
I reckon a quarter of people aren't. And no one challenges them.
I'm so cross
Entitled special people pah!

It's pretty obvious unless you're deliberately ignorant.

@YetAnotherDay

Christ this thread is depressing
The most relevant thing about this post is that it's impossible to tell whether you think more people should wear masks or fewer!
ThinWomansBrain · 02/10/2021 17:57

wow - so 75% were wearing them! You must travel on different bits of TFL to me!
And it's the truly dimwit ones with masks carefully draped over their ear or chin that really piss me off.
NO, YOUR CHIN DOES NOT EMIT CONTAMINANATED BODILY FLUIDS, NUMBSKULL

Hi Terry, exemption you mean? I don't think it is at all. But more importantly of you want the rule to have any punitive legal force then exemptions need to be clearly defined. Being "obvious" to mask enthusiasts on Mumsnet doesn't really cut it!
MrsTerryPratchett · 02/10/2021 18:03

Wear one unless there's a medical or psychological reason you can't.

Literally everyone in other countries has managed to work it out. Why are the UK and US so confused?

Canigooutyet · 02/10/2021 18:12

Even when they were mandatory many were wearing them wrong. Under noses, not changing them when they got damp, never washing the reusable ones etc.
