To get an expensive coffee machine?

I'm looking at the Sage barrista express. Anyone have experience of the sage machines? They are soooo expensive I don't want to buy a big white elephant. Those of you who love your coffee A LOT and have splashed out on a serious piece of kit, please guide me.

And I know IABU to buy such an expensive item when my little old (completely used to death/broken) Nespresso machine gave me a good cup of coffee to now.

BIL has a sage and highly recommends it.

We also have a Melitta. It depends what you're using it for though. We have cappuccinos in the morning and I will make other coffees for guests, but if it's espresso you're drinking, you only really need a moka pot.

Another vote for Jura machines.
We have had other brands but this is massively better.
We have the E6 we got on a Black Friday deal for £580

We have a sage and it is so so fab! Well worth the money!
We only drink black coffee but use frother for hot chocolate, so good! If u like milk based coffee you will be in heaven!

We have the Sage Barista Touch. My husband loves it, I'm not a big coffee person. Everyone we've made coffee for has been very complimentary. It's straightforward enough for me to use when we have company, as it allows my husband to adjust the settings (grind time etc) depending on the beans we have at the time. Nice and compact as well, so I don't feel like I've given over half my kitchen to something only he uses. Would definitely recommend it over the Nespresso pod thingy we used to have.

We have a Dualit 3 in 1 Espresso machine. Just replaced it after the previous model started to leak (10 years in). So easy to use and makes a great coffee.

Delighted not, that everyone thinks owning a nespresso is crap, I hate overstrong bitter coffee, suits me fine
