Honestly, posts like this worry me...innocent people going about their lives have no idea there are mean and unkind people affecting them in these small, awful ways

depends on who you did it to, I worked with complete c**ts who I'd love to screw over like this.

But why? What do you get from it? Nothing...your initial satisfaction will show on your face as bitterness before too long. Being mean in revenge only costs you in the end...you're thinking too much about people who are problematic instead of ignoring them or laughing about them.

Dp and I have an ongoing battle of the loo rolls...... He insists on Andrex and claims Aldi loo roll is crumbly which is rubbish as Aldi loo roll is fine. We also arent rich or posh enough for Andrex and its stupid to waste the money on bumpaper when it can be bought so much cheaper.
So we've come to an uneasy truce and the person who gets there first with the last roll gets to buy the loo roll.

Or so he thinks, because this month I painstakingly switched his Andrex loo rolls with aldi rolls (( andrex are in dds room)) after taking them out the packs and switching them.

And everytime I wipe my arse I sit and laugh to myself. Because he hasn't said a bloody thing about the loo roll crumbling!

My town had a local FB page, "spotted in X Town" type thing. It was run by an anonymous admin who would post details they'd heard on the police scanner, and stuff about people around town. It amassed thousands of followers.

Some of the posts were truly awful, and harmful too, resulting in on and offline harrassment for some of the people who were targeted. A number of people contacted the police about it but nothing was done.

Using open source intelligence search tools, I spent hours looking into the page to try and discover the admin's identity. When I succeeded, I outed her with a fake account. The fallout was spectacular: everyone was talking about it, and it made the news. She ended up closing the page. I never told anyone.

Before my brother married his current wife, he has a long term GF who I couldn't stand. I used to stir the shit in their relationship.

I wouldn't say I justify it to myself now, I know I behaved like a shit. But maybe I just don't regret it? I still think she was manipulative and opportunistic, and he just didn't want to see it.

Every 6 months or so I remember how petty and mean I was in very subtle ways. Kill them with paper cuts kind of thing. I'm mortified honestly thinking of it. I am mortified but don't regret it honestly.

But you haven't said what you actually did.

Not me, but my DD. She was at a works drinks party, got totally plastered, and told the entire senior management team that they were “a bunch of cunts”.
The boss left at that point to go home.
DD partied on. Then at 3am she phoned him, at home in bed with his wife, to tell him “You’re still a cunt!”
I received a panicked call when she sobered up, later that Sunday, asking if I thought she would get sacked. I recommended taking in doughnuts for the team, served with a grovelling apology, on Monday morning.
DD said they all laughed. She later got promoted!

We used to have a whole office intercom system - as in you could put an announcement out via the phone. We always used to fantasise about winning the lottery and then coming in, getting on the intercom, and telling the management to fuck off

This is something I've felt terrible about, nearly 30 years on. I was staying at my auntie's house and went out clubbing with my cousin for the evening. I ended up getting a bit friendly with this guy I knew a bit. At the end of the night my cousin ditched me to go and stay at her boyfriend's. This guy walked me back to my auntie's house. I let him come inside. We were both v drunk and a bit horny so we decided we might dtd in my cousin's bedroom. I don't know if I would have actually gone through with it but basically my auntie caught him going to the bathroom in just his pants. She screamed at me to get him out. In my drunken state I had to persuade him to get dressed and go. My uncle apparently woke up and very roughly threw him out of the house. I had to face them both in the morning. Felt so ashamed though I do feel if my cousin hadn't left me it wouldn't have happened. Still cringe at the memory though. The shame!
