If it is, in what way? How do you make it interesting, what do you do?

Not in the slightest.
Chronic health conditions, I’m in bed by 8pm exhausted. DH is bored, DC bored & I have no energy to have a life.
I’m in my 40’s buy may as well be 90!

At the risk of giving a stupid answer, I find my life fairly interesting but I suspect many would find it much less so.

I made / make it interesting by finding a career that stimulates the mind, and pursuing hobbies / interests in my spare time!

My one regret is that I have spent far too many nights hanging out with friends and work colleagues when I could have been at home reading a book or researching interests online or pursuing those interests. Or I could have been out by myself at a gallery or a show.

flumpo · 16/09/2021 16:10

Yes it is. Lots of friends, close family, v interesting job, live in central London, go to lots of cultural things and travel a lot (pandemic permitting).

I appreciate that this is subjective but I'm not bored.

Marni83 · 16/09/2021 16:11

Yes

I enjoy my part time job
Love my family
Have great friends
And… I’m dating

And got holidays to look forward and threatre trips

Marni83 · 16/09/2021 16:12

Oh and running in the countryside is glorious for the soul

dreamofaVWcamper · 16/09/2021 16:12

Mines a joke,
Despite my best efforts I don't know why I get out of bed
It's a shit show

RickOShay · 16/09/2021 16:13

Yes. But looking at it from the outside it looks dull.
It’s all about knowing what you want Grin

RickOShay · 16/09/2021 16:13

It’s still a shitshow though @dreamofaVWcamper Grin

Polkadots2021 · 16/09/2021 16:14

It's really interesting, genuinely lots of new experiences, change, stepping out of my comfort zone. I love it Smile

MartyHart · 16/09/2021 16:16

Dull as dishwater, not much likelihood it will change either.

I’m so sorry What is your condition?
TheLovelinessOfDemons · 16/09/2021 16:19

Not remotely.

43goingunder · 16/09/2021 16:20

@DeletedByAccident Oh 😞so sorry, how old are your kids?

Yes I think my life is interesting but maybe not to anyone looking in.

I read and research a lot, enjoy going down worm holes and doing a deep dive. I miss study so this satisfies that urge. I love my dog, walking him is great. My daughter does dance competitions and I love planning those and sorting outfits etc. I work from home and am self employed so am flexible to be able to go out once a week for lunch with friends. I also have an allotment so researching and growing bits there keeps me passionate about the natural world.

My passions and desire for a really good critical thinking session keep it interesting as it means I can look into anything which comes along and lots of opportunities are suddenly visible. I make notes on what I read and like to throw thoughts down as they come along

HappyVagabond · 16/09/2021 16:21

I would say my life has been interesting but now it's a bit boring.

I kind of like it though. I still go out a lot, see shows and gigs. I also swim in the sea and walk in the countryside.

I spent years travelling the world, firstly for fun then later for work. I had so many adventures, but now I have children.

Shelddd · 16/09/2021 16:22

Right now? No, it's calm, relaxing but not interesting. Oh well interesting is overrated.

FourTeaFallOut · 16/09/2021 16:22

Yes. I'm not sure anyone else would consider it exciting but I'm easily pleased. Grin

43goingunder · 16/09/2021 16:24

Hmm 🤔 think I’m needing new challenges, Career I enjoyed most of my life but did get a little bored of. Now a Sahm to my toddler, love it in some ways, but also can be very boring at times..missing something I guess?
I live abroad in a beautiful place, nice friends, partner, house, but no hobbies etc. Not really had the time..how can I make it more interesting when toddler is a pre school? I would so love to do a part time masters online, but can’t afford to shell out money for that.

Well the landscape of my mind is very interesting

And I love living in it - I could sit and stare out the window all day and daydream with one of the dogs on me

scully29 · 16/09/2021 16:26

Really interesting im really lucky. My house is covered with lego!

Marni83 · 16/09/2021 16:26

I’m always looking for new
Shows, books, holidays, adventures with the Children, local forests to explore with the children, interesting restaurants to visit with family and friends.

When I began to find work tedious, i job hunted and found a new one.

An interesting life won’t be handed to you on a plate.

It requires effort
But so very worth it

HeadNorth · 16/09/2021 16:28

I've just bought a 2 year old Arab horse - interesting times ahead for me Grin

MadamMalkin · 16/09/2021 16:28

No, but I'm fairly content, and that's more important to me.

HummingBeeBox · 16/09/2021 16:29

@43goingunder I found those years so tough. Making things helped. Are you crafty? Could you find a craft which is mind exercising as well as creative, something complex?

Waxonwaxoff0 · 16/09/2021 16:29

Depends what you consider interesting. I co parent with my ex. I go out a lot socialising and travel, I like to go to concerts and spend weekends enjoying new cities. My job is boring as fuck though and I have no love life!
