I have a next door neighbour who is odd. He shouts a lot and just is strange. No learning difficulties that I can tell.

We have our wheelie bins all lined up outside our walls on the back alleyway. He has just moved his bins (all three of them) outside my wall. I can't see them from my house because of the wall but AIBU to be pissed off?

You're right OP it's rude and inconsiderate of him. Move them back.

seaandsandcastles · 12/09/2021 12:09

@RainbowBriteUk

It;s just the principle of it when he has a good seven foot to have the bins outside his fence. He's lined them up right next to mine outside my property. Why the fuck would he do that?
What does it matter? Why are you wasting your time and energy on this?
Suzi888 · 12/09/2021 12:10

@MadCatLadee

YADNBU. He's being a CF. Move them back.

YANBU- bins and neighbours are really annoying and absolutely pain.

MattHancocksSexTape · 12/09/2021 12:15

@RainbowBriteUk you are getting upset over a bin you can neither see nor smell?

SunIsBehindGreySky · 12/09/2021 12:15

Why the fuck would he do that?

I have you my opinion why, as have many others, why are you still asking - why? Why don't you go and ask him *why"?

flibberyjibbery8 · 12/09/2021 12:20

YABU yeah, maybe it's redirected anger about something else that you're aiming at him because it seems a bit much for the position of some bins that you can't even see.

Looks tidier?

KellyJonesLeatherTrousers · 12/09/2021 12:26

I’m surprised you’ve had time to notice - you must be incredibly professionally in demand with your ability to diagnose learning disabilities by sight OP.

RainbowBriteUk · 12/09/2021 12:26

@AlvinSimonTheo Tidier for him? The CF!

Probably because they stink Grin

Or for access reasons?

Either way you're taking it a bit too much to heart...

ApplesAreTheBaneOfMyLife · 12/09/2021 12:30

Is it to make life easier for the refuse collectors? We do that in my road.

OhDearMuriel · 12/09/2021 12:37

Yanbu
Move them to his side.

AlvinSimonTheo · 12/09/2021 12:37

Tidier for everyone. Tbh you're sounding like the neighbour with issues here

RainbowBriteUk · 12/09/2021 12:38

How is it tidier for me? It's not!

You can't even see them so why does it matter whether it's tidier or not?
FleasInMyKnees · 12/09/2021 12:49

You are way overthinking this, maybe he has issues you dont know about, maybe he thinks he is being a good citizen, who knows. If it really bothers you that much just go and put his back to outside his wall and separate yours so there is no room for him to put his. You cant see them, you cant smell them, they are on council property, is it your wall or the council wall. Does it really matter that much, dont get so upset by this.

ApplesAreTheBaneOfMyLife · 12/09/2021 13:00

Radical idea I know, but you could just ask him why he does it.

nonevernotever · 12/09/2021 13:15

If his wall is next to yours, why not just shift them all along so that they meet at the boundary with yours along your wall, and his lined up next to them but along his wall?

PuppyMonkey · 12/09/2021 13:19

Put you rubbish in there.

PuppyMonkey · 12/09/2021 13:20

*your

WineInTheBlood · 12/09/2021 13:23

I would probably move them back. Technically there's no reason he can't put them there but I'd probably be a bit irritated by it too. Bins do end up stinking when it's warm.

Ponoka7 · 12/09/2021 13:26

"I have a next door neighbour who is odd. He shouts a lot and just is strange. No learning difficulties that I can tell"

Possibly MH issues. If it's not causing you any issues, I don't see the problem tbh.

SunIsBehindGreySky · 12/09/2021 13:30

He could have a UTI, vitamin deficiencies, long covid brain fog anything affecting his cognative abilities or executive functioning, just ask the guy.

OP, why don't you put on nice relaxing music or a film and try to calm down first.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 12/09/2021 13:31

So what’s the issue?

You do know not all learning disabilities are visible Hmm
