Mum has cancer

I know this isn't the right place, I just needed to write this down somewhere......

About 6 weeks ago mum told us that she has pancreatic cancer, then a week later we were told it's terminal. She went to Christie's for her first appointment and was admitted straight away - she's really poorly.

I was going to go and visit her yesterday but now she has COVID ..... I'm just so sad today and don't know what to do.

I just feel like this can't be happening to my mum, it's my mum.... she can't die, she's my mum

I'm so sorry OP. My Mum died of the same cancer 2 years ago. Less than two months from diagnosis to her death 😢

I lost my mum to this too. One of the things my neighbour did for her mum that sounded lovely was to rub hand cream into her hands, little pampering things like that. I wished I’d thought to do that with my mum. Sending you much strength. Enjoy the days you have. Live in the moment as much as you can with her. ❤️

Hello. My mum got diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma with metastases in her lungs. I am terrified and feel like this might go really badly wrong and I wouldn’t be able to live without her.
