I am seriously regretting this.

In short I was trying to concentrate on the cross trainer to get my heart rate up and I was finding it hard.

Woman on the step machine behind gets on step machine and immediately gets on a call with her partner getting into an increasingly heated argument about things she had put in the loft.

By the time she had risen her voice and had been going on sometime, i turned round and said that to her.

When I got off the machine she and her friend both shouted at me really aggressively and then both shouted at me to fuck off.

Was I unreasonable to have said that in the first place?

Yes you were daft to remonstrate with her
What did you think would happen? She’d be contrite and stop immediately
In fact she got there hump and it all escalated to an unpleasant argument
Leave it to the staff to resolve instead of getting all indignant and in a row

Was it a naice gym?

@Pinkandwhitewafer

Oh god I had similar...I was getting out of my jaguar at waitrose and some woman was having a proper row on the phone with her husband. I said "stop arguing, im trying to shop here. its hard to be fabulous with all that racket". I then strode off on my Louboutin's into the store and bought some hummous to go with my diamonds.
Hell yea I was sashaying out of the artisanal deli with handpicked produce and my Louis Vuitton tote when I encountered a woman in polyester def an assortment of man made fabrics. I poked her with a a rustic baguette and shouted tally ho! and clip clopped away in my Penelope Chilvers oiled boots

Ha! thanks all. I was cross and lost my temper. I shouldn't have, i should have moved.
To explain the concentrating to get the heart rate up - I find the cross trainer really hard to use.
I had forgotten my ear phones and in hindsight I should have moved, not stayed pumping away on the cross trainer at 95bpm.
Thanks for the feedback all Star

I use noise cancelling headphones to drown out the bloody awful dubstep at my gym. Angry
But..if I knew someone near me was in the middle of a domestic, I would surreptitiously remove them, because I'm a nosy buggerGrin🍿

@SnarkyBag

She was a bit of a dick but really l, how hard is it to concentrate on a cross trainer?!
I was using the (outdoor) cross trainer at my local park while my son played football and went of in a daydream and somehow fell of the side very awkward. And they all stopped and stared and my son laughed at me. So I would say surprisingly difficult. Not that that has any real bearing on the OPs problem...

@FrankGrillosFloof

I love being able to eavesdrop on a barney, especially when doing something as monotonous as the cross trainer.
Same here Grin

I'd have quite enjoyed listening in Blush

@AlrightThereSkippy

Oh yes, I think that was weird and rude of you. Weird and rude of her too, but since you are asking and she isn't.
