@Tevion28 check out Egypt. Hurghada. I know a bunch of good resorts.

Notimeforaname · 25/08/2021 13:23

I'd just go with tenerife then op. They will enjoy themselves anywhere aged 21 .

Tevion28 · 25/08/2021 13:23

Not Cyprus. We lived there... January is cold and wet and nothing touristy is open.

PenelopePrat · 25/08/2021 13:24

I've been to The Canaries in January, it's pleasant. Highs of 23/24°c. North Africa similar.

Notimeforaname · 25/08/2021 13:25

Accommodation is quite cheap. If you're not going too close to new year dates. Can always find cheap accommodation. It's the flights you need to look after first price wise

Notimeforaname · 25/08/2021 13:27

I was in tenerife and if November 2019 and had a one bed apartment for 3 people for a week at just under 300 euro. Flights were more expensive

Notimeforaname · 25/08/2021 13:27

End of November *

It really depends where you want to go. I’m getting Titanic Royal in Hurghada for 10 nights based on 11 January flying from Manchester for £600pp.
minipie · 25/08/2021 13:32

Mauritius! Highly recommend

It’s not Europe and it’s a loong flight - but you can fly overnight so not wasting holiday and there’s no jet lag.

Canaries is hit and miss, warmest bit is southern Tenerife

minipie · 25/08/2021 13:33

Oh just saw budget … sorry OP not Mauritius then

You could look at Marrakech

LtJudyHopps · 25/08/2021 13:33

We went to Gran Canaria in February a few years ago. I think we only had a couple of days it was nice enough to lay by the pool. It was very windy though so not that pleasant. Pool was also freezing.
At 21 would a city break not be of interest? If not can you gift the holiday for later in the year?

Starjammer · 25/08/2021 13:34

Gran Canaria is warm all year. We've been in November and December and it's been mid 20s and absolutely sitting by the pool weather!

purpleboy · 25/08/2021 13:34

Morocco, I know it's not Europe, but not a long flight either.

Starjammer · 25/08/2021 13:35

(South Gran Canaria though, the north is much more changeable and rainy. But we've been to Gran Canaria four times in the 'winter' months and had nothing but glorious weather!)

tanstaafl · 25/08/2021 13:36

Cape Verde?

Babyghirl · 25/08/2021 13:37

@Tevion28
Tenerife
Porta Rico
You can get good deals last holiday my mate found a package holiday to Tenerife for 230 each for 3 of us and that was for May 3 years ago through teletext holidays and will be 21 23 degrees normally for that time of the year.

Kipperandarthur · 25/08/2021 13:38

Southern Gran Canaria.

AliceAbsolum · 25/08/2021 13:38

Canàries. Look how close to the equator they are

thisplaceisweird · 25/08/2021 13:41

Morroco will be cool that time of year.

Even if the outdoor weather somewhere is 20-24, the pool will feel frozen!

Dubai??

AuntMargo · 25/08/2021 13:42

@Lockheart

Have you tried Google?
Have you tried to be pleasant !!
Tevion28 · 25/08/2021 13:43

I love cool but would also like it just warm enough for the pool beach as well

BendingSpoons · 25/08/2021 13:44

I went to Madeira in Jan twice. Once it was shorts and t-shirt weather, once more jeans and jumpers. A nice contrast to England but more for walking, sitting in cafes than pool/beach. I don't think I went in the outdoor pool and I love swimming!
