Become so bored of cooking the same old recipes. No idea what to cook tonight so what are you lot all having? Need some inspiration

DD11 is having the last sleepover of the school holidays so I've got a few of her friends over. With that in mind it's 2 x large pizzas - one margarita, one bbq chicken, potato wedges, and ice cream sundaes for dessert. I'll have whatever's left with a couple of glasses of wine later. IF there's any left that is!

Homemade pizza. Dd had a friend round so I usually do homemade pizza. They tend to like punching the dough and can choose what to put on it.

DH is making steak and chips with salad. It’s his ‘thing’ (aka only thing he can cook). But he makes an amazing blue cheese sauce to go with it though…

We're having fish pie too. I am trying to clear space in the freezer. It's a bit late tonight but Ds2 has been a skate boarding competition so I waited to put it in the oven when got back.

Chinese. Crispy garlic and chilli beef with rice and chips I think!

Couldn’t be arsed to go shopping so a lentil bolognese with tinned lentils from the cupboard, tomatoes, onions, garlic, herbs etc.

Wasabi sweet chilli chicken bento box from Sainsbury’s - nom nom.

Fillet steak, peppercorn sauce, chips, onion rings and mushrooms. It was delicious.

Sweet chilli hot smoked salmon fillets with chips & peas. I’m supposed to be doing salad potatoes & broccoli but cba!

Lamb tandoori, salad and flatbread.

Made and ate a tomato and bacon soup whilst watching "you've got mail". It's supposed to be blitzed up but my son was still asleep (works nights) so had it chunky soup style. Very impressed especially when I got to use my home grown herbs in it😋
And tonights movie shall be accompanied with smoked salmon canapés garnished with fake caviar and a cold glass of white wine. Cos I'm dead posh! 😂😂😂

Bacon ribs, mashed new season potatoes ( lashings of butter) boiled cabbage and white sauce. A yummy Irish staple.

Bacon sarnies. We were going to the pub and getting chips on walk back but changed mind re pub. Normally I cook steak or curry on a Saturday

A roasted chicken, roasted whole new potatoes, coleslaw and a big salad.

Rabbit pie, baby roast potatoes, chargrilled asparagus and cider sauce.

Definitely stealing some of these ideas though

Tandoori Chicken from The Roasting Tin Around the World book. I recommend all the Roasting Tin recipes. Simple and tasty.

Roast tomato and feta spaghetti. Just put some cherry tomatoes and feta with a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper in the oven at 180° fan for half an hour. Mix it together then serve with pasta of your choice.

That's sounds amazing and easy. Will be giving it a go 👍

Cottage pie today…and the leftovers will be tomorrow’s. Nice and easy, and great comfort food.

We had Indian spiced omelet with green salad. Lovely recipe that we always come back to for a quick supper!
