Posting here for traffic! I am one of those annoying people who hate noise. The pillows I currently have are horrendous, only have to move slightly and it sounds like two pieces of cheap material rubbing together and it is driving me insane (currently have Silent Night Hotel like pillows)
Been doing some research on Internet and a lot of it seems contradictory
Do you any of you have any recommendations for a nice comfortable silent pillow please?
Thank you x

We have the Baavit (sheep wool) duvet and pillows. I’m fussy about my pillows and they are great.

These are fantastic! They are soft but still firm. Really lovely and no noise. I bought 2 on offer and have bought 6 more since then. Highly recommend them.

EasterIssland · 16/08/2021 22:37

Where did you get the pillows from @Whattodoffs? I need one for my sons bed as I tend to coshare and his is worse than the one in my bed

MauveMavis · 16/08/2021 22:41

I came on to say Dunlopillo. So pleased you have bought them. I love mine @Whattodoffs.

I've had a dunlopillo pillow (not the same one!!) since I was a kid. Took one to boarding school and university!

Soak and Sleep hungarian goose feather and down. Expensive but worth it.

On the plus side you only need one each. I have Superking ones. Can’t sleep on anything else, they even go to Spain with us regularly (visiting family).

ScrambledSmegs · 16/08/2021 22:43

I've been looking for the perfect pillows for years now too (as has my dad!). I had them, and either the company went out of business or they stopped importing them Sad.

For a while I could get them from a place in Rhyl called the Pillowcentre, mail order only in the internet age! But that's gone too now.

So I'm using a Casper, and it's ok, but my head still gets too hot on it and it's not supportive enough, but the softness is right if that makes sense.

@Whattodoffs

Thabk you all - 2 Relyon/dunlupillo pillows purchased! Fingers crossed 🤞 they do the job 😁
Please can I ask, where did you buy them from?
mswales · 16/08/2021 22:47

Anyone know any silent comfy pillows that will retain their shape and comfort perfectly after being washed? This seems really hard to find.

Toddlerteaplease · 16/08/2021 22:48

I came across a Tempur outlet store and came across their classic firm
Pillow. It's squishy and so comfortable.

Saoirse82 · 16/08/2021 22:54

I'm pregnant and just bought myself a queen rose full body pregnancy pillow. Pregnant or not I'll never be without it. Had previously bought another one from amazon which was well reviewed but was rubbish but this bad lad is a dream!

FinallyFluid · 16/08/2021 22:54

Skimmed the thread then came to post, we have had Dunlopillo for twenty years, they have probably needed replacing for the last eighteen months,Blush finally took it off the long finger and tasked DH with buying like for like, we bought Relyon, they were about £80 each, they are bliss.

So much so that I travelled recently with a large luggage allowance (which I hit Blush) but the morning I was travelling, I genuinely looked at my bag and wondered what I could sacrifice to bring my pillow with me. Grin

The best pillows I ever tried were at radisson blue hotel Gran Canaria ..they were so amazing I struggled to go out to the pool!

The4teddybears · 16/08/2021 23:07

Recently got 2 of these from Asda. Not expensive but very comfortable . Worth a try at that price. I’ve had much more expensive ones that haven’t been as nice .

Help me find the perfect pillow.....pleeeease I'm begging you!
The4teddybears · 16/08/2021 23:10

Forgot to say , my husband likes his too . No moans . Most unusual 😀

Nat6999 · 16/08/2021 23:19

What about the Hypnos pillows?

Ariela · 16/08/2021 23:27

Baavet British made wool filled pillows. You can buy extra filling and stuff as much or as ;little as you need. So comfy and very cool in summer - unlike memory foam.

I also highly recommend their duvets.

OkOkWhatsNext · 16/08/2021 23:43

Simba pillows cured my neck ache overnight. I didn’t even really know I needed a new pillow but they came with our new mattress and we’re the best thing ever. We also have written our names on ours as they are stuffed to personal perfection with the memory foam beads, and we take them with us on holiday and everything.

MyrrAgain · 17/08/2021 00:27

Dunlopillo.

That's all.

Forgothowtospell · 06/11/2021 16:18

@Ariela hi, do you use a duvet cover on your baavet duvet?

Ariela · 07/11/2021 15:16

Yes, just a normal John Lewis cover. It stays put and is easy to replace the cover, as the duvet is stitched.

motherheroic · 07/11/2021 15:36

The perfect pillow is no pillow. The moment I stopped using a pillow is the moment I had the best sleep of my life.
