Having accidentally left the lid off of the salt but after filling it I can safely say the salt buggers off very quickly.
With regards to the fairy liquid. Have accidentally done this, foam party ensued and a sparkling floor afterwards, however o wouldn’t recommend this method for cleaning your floors.
