Have included diagram. House 1 are not included in bin-gate

House 2 for several years have been putting their bins on House 3's drive way. House 3 with the previous resident would keep their bin literally mm from the front door. House 3 = newest resident and now have a second black bin. Since moving in House 3 have been wanting to keep their bins on their driveways.

House 4 usually keep their bins by the alleyway and not on the drive.

House 3 started putting their bins on their driveway so House 2 have started putting theirs on House 4's driveway.

House 3 keeps returning to House 4 having placed all the bins on their driveway. House 3 got confronted by House 4 and pointed out they are House 2's bins so it is perhaps one to take up with them.

House 4 and House 2 have both taken up issue with House 3 about how it has always worked until they arrived and that it was fine when the previous resident kept her bin by the front door. Now House 3 has 2 black bins they won't fit regardless, plus it is fairly grim to have the bin that close to the front door everytime going in and out. House 3 also has an autistic child who has a tendancy to lick bins. House 3 just wants to use their own driveway to put their own bins on.

Is House 3 being unreasonable and should just suck up the situation to avoid messing up the status quo? Should this should be an issue between House 4 and House 2?

Oh my god OP, I’d have blown my stack by now!
Kudos to you for remaining calm. Keep us updated!

Bonniegirlie · 17/08/2021 18:57

If I were you I would wheel their bins a LONG way down the road, then they might get the hint to keep them on their own land

Alternista · 17/08/2021 22:10

I still think you need to put locks on your own bins and then take their bins for a really long walk.

frerecoler · 17/08/2021 22:32

This is bonkers!

ShallWeStartTheMeeting · 18/08/2021 12:15

I am so invested in this...

Pinkfluff76 · 18/08/2021 12:46

Me too!!

Indoctro · 18/08/2021 12:57

Wow new level of crazy. I would of took there bins away and hid them

Mumofsend · 18/08/2021 22:31

Whole new level of cheeky fuckers day (and I "accidently"returned them to the wrong location)

First picture was how they were leaving them. The second is how they were lovingly arranged when I got home earlier.

Next time their bins are going to disappear Angry

Thanks for updating and totally here for when they go for a walk! Cheeky fuckers indeed.

Lochroy · 18/08/2021 22:40

Have to say I can't follow that update. You left them in a line blocking both drives?

WeAreTheHeroes · 18/08/2021 22:41

Have you spoken with the people at 2 and asked what is going on?

Terhou · 18/08/2021 23:03

Your picture suggests someone moved your bins onto no. 4's driveway, but that seems unlikely. What did happen?

LivingTheThighLife · 18/08/2021 23:04

@Mumofsend burn them 🔥

hedgehogger1 · 18/08/2021 23:21

I'm not sure what the latest update means. Have your bins gone wandering. Just write in chalk on your drive. "For fucks sake, Everyone needs to keep their own bins on their own drive"

hedgehogger1 · 18/08/2021 23:22

A black bin has also morphed into a blue bin

Dancingonmoonlight · 18/08/2021 23:27

My understanding is that No. 4 put the extra bins (presumably from No. 2?) onto No. 3's drive and she put them back on No. 4's drive when she returned to work?

I think you are right OP in putting them back to wherever they were originally. If No. 4 want to move them, then they need to return them to their rightful owners at No. 2. They are as cheeky as No. 2 imo.

JacquelineCarlyle · 19/08/2021 00:16

They're all crazy!

Ddot · 19/08/2021 02:33

Glue the wheels

WeAreTheHeroes · 19/08/2021 04:33

@Mumofsend - have you spoken to the people at 2 or 4 about what's going on?

Clutterbugsmum · 19/08/2021 08:39

@Mumofsend

Yes I am house 3 and also somewhat alarmed about what level crazy I've moved into!

When I suggested everyone just uses their own drives you would have thought I'd suggested killing a kitten and both houses have been so bonkers about it I've been trying to work out if I I actually the unreasonable one.

Yes she has spoken to them, and they don't care as the previous owner of OP house 'didn't mind' them leaving them on their drive.

Who moved them? Did no. 4 move the black ones to be in a line across the whole way? I'd be setting up permanent camp on my driveway to catch them in the act, and then going full-on crazy!
HJ40 · 19/08/2021 15:55

I'm starting to feel that calling this a drama is over egging it.

RestingPandaFace · 19/08/2021 16:20

Have you actually knocked on 4’s door and told them that if they don’t like where 2 leaves their bins they need to give them back and stop dumping them on you?

honeybuns007 · 19/08/2021 18:38

Latest update is confusing.
