To think my cat is faulty?

An entire bed covered with clean laundry waiting to be packed for a holiday and he has curled up on the only space not taken by laundry, as if to be considerate. AIBU to be concerned at this distinctly unfeline-like behaviour?

Mine's normally the same, I've always wondered how she survived as a stray!

She'd been lap-snoozing for ages, then didn't think she'd been out the room that long, just sauntered back in and put a toy down with her others... Only then I looked at it 😱

I'm just praying she got it from OUTSIDE the house...

My other half just walked in as im reading this thread and says - you'll never guess where the cat is and showed me a picture of her tail hanging out of my underwear drawer.
I can one up the sitting on your folded laundry pics though, she likes to sleep on the washing when it's still on the maiden.
Second picture is her fighting with her brother over a Primark bag - cats sure do love those paper bags.

My cat is a pain. I love him and he has an amazing life, but the sad fact remains that when he passes (I've had him for 10 years), my quality of life will be better No more demands, whining, or waking me up at ungodly hours.
My dog on the other hand, he's wonderful ...

This is my rascal getting very possessive over a box of cat food. It's worth more than my life to try and get him off!

Ooh, I had a dream last night where I found my cat asleep in a pile of clean holiday laundry - strange coincidence! Yours is beautiful OP but definitely faulty. I had a faulty one like that once, also ginger - he thought he was a dog, didn’t like being stroked or sitting on laps (but was very happy to have his chin rubbed repeatedly by a socked foot 🤷‍♀️) and loved nothing better than ice skating on the pond in winter. Ahh I miss him.

By contrast, as I was packing the car to move house a few years ago, I found our neighbours' Bengal tucked up in the boot waiting to come with us 😂 now that would have been a surprise!

I’m glad to say my current overlords are proper hunting, food stealing, clean laundry sleeping true cats. The small one in particular is cunning - she will bring in kills, leave them lying around for her brother to investigate, and he then gets caught by my DH who bollocks the wrong cat 😆

I also have a laptop lover. Although she loves to lay behind it on all the wires. Then deletes and renames my spreadsheets while I'm away from my desk....

Lola did the pawing thing on a company laptop - IT had to send a technician to change the keyboard which hadn’t t survived my attempt to replace the keys she pulled off
