I am loving 'Real Housewives of Beverley Hills' right now

Been having a bit of a Martin Henderson feast (yes I do mean feast not fest he is banquet of eye candy) at the mo. Only discovered Virgin River a few weeks ago now watched the whole lot numerous times it's not the sort of thing I'd really watch either but I love it. I discovered SWEAT the Aussie teen drama with Heath Ledger's first starring role (first role was Ship to Shore wish I could find that on streaming) then Firestick recommend Big Sky another young Martin Henderson show, one of those light, laid-back, soapy drama shows about a small aviation company . Think the last two are on Prime . The man has been various types of gorgeous his whole life.
Been watching Cat Weazle on Britbox at dinner time and the original Famous Five series. I was watching Handmaiden's Tale but it's so dark and gets under your skin I need to be in the right mood.
Nearly forgot the New He-Man nice they haven't fucked it up and made everyone pudgy and idiotic like the last She-Ra, I want good looking people on TV even if they are cartoons dammit

Dead to Me - its twisty!
The Kominsky Method

Marmalady75 · 05/08/2021 07:57

@cheapskatemum

Below Deck. I'm on series 4 & realise I've seen some of the earlier episode before. I'm sure I didn't watch the whole series though.
I’ve binged Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean - my dh calls it fluff, I call it compulsive 😂
Panickingpavlova · 05/08/2021 08:40

Op house wife Beverly Hills are my favourite 😍😍.

Winniewonka · 05/08/2021 10:01

Caliphate - Swedish thriller. It's about teenage girls who are tricked into becoming brides in Syria and one who is already there and wants to come home. Binge watched over two nights.

hedgehogger1 · 05/08/2021 10:03

Lucifer :)

lotusbell · 05/08/2021 10:07

Shtisel

Jerseygirl12 · 05/08/2021 10:24

Love, love, love Shtisel, it’s the best thing I’ve ever watched ever.
Try Scrugim on Amazon, it’s about a group of friends living in Jerusalem.

Auntienumber8 · 05/08/2021 10:29

I watched a great film called I still see you, it’s sort of a horror but not really.

I have also been watching The movies that made us great memories of watching Dirty Dancing after seeing that episode.

Pandoraslastchance · 05/08/2021 11:27

Sex education with Gillian Anderson on netflix.

Bosch on amazon. Crime drama with Titus Wellever.

sbhydrogen · 05/08/2021 11:30

Nothing! Everything on Netflix looks dull at the moment. That said, I did recently watch the Office. I'd cancel my subscription if I had one - luckily I sponge off someone else 😆

liveforsummer · 05/08/2021 11:47

@Ughmaybenot

Heartland which is the streaming equivalent of a warm snuggly hug Grin Brooklyn 99 (on a constant loop) and just finished Sex Life, which was beyond shit.
Until the first episode of season 14 😭. Currently watching working moms.
liveforsummer · 05/08/2021 11:47

Oh and just finished Les Miserables on iplayer. Harrowing!

MiaMarshmallows · 05/08/2021 12:16

I loved Unorthodox but couldn't get into shtisel. Found it slow and boring

lalalalalafeelingroovy · 05/08/2021 12:59

@MulticolouredPostItNotes

Parks and Rec, which gets vastly better as it goes on so is worth persevering with if it doesn’t immediately grab you. And Never Have I Ever, which is probably for teens but I love a teen show.
I'm watching Never Have I Ever and while it's enjoyable I can not get my head around the actor playing Paxton. He's a handsome man but he's clearly a 30 year old man. He has lines around his eyes nearly as deep as my early 40s ones. Watching him paired with a teenage girl is seriously giving me the ick.
Furries · 05/08/2021 13:28

I’m always late to watching stuff. Since I’ve had Netflix I’ve watched:

All of Breaking Bad (and the follow-up film, El Camino)
Messiah
Stranger Things
Am on the second season of a Better a Call Saul
Am on the final season of Designated Survivor
IZombie (can’t remember where I’m up to, put it on hold for breaking Bad)

RH of Beverley Hills is my favourite!

Frazzledd · 05/08/2021 13:35

@EsmeShelby

Dead to Me - its twisty! The Kominsky Method
Ooo I liked Dead to me! Kominsky still on watch list... Just finished the second season of 'the OA' - the first season was a bit slow to get going but a great sci-fi story set up, delayed watching for a while but ended up binging the whole series on my day off last week- great stuff!

I really loved 'locke & key', 'the umbrella academy' and 'the haunting of Hill House'.

adrianmolesmole · 05/08/2021 13:43

Not Netflix but High Fidelity on Amazon prime. Loved it.

XelaM · 05/08/2021 13:44

"Stisel" - amazing show but then I'm Jewish

XelaM · 05/08/2021 13:47

@MiaMarshmallows Omg I love "Shtisel"! It's so good!! "Unorthodox" was also good but was short

XelaM · 05/08/2021 14:05

And my grandmother reminds me SO much of Rebetzen Erblich and a bit if Grandmother Malka in "Shtisel"

roliepopsock21 · 05/08/2021 14:10

Kingdom (the Korean series), The Stranded, Re:Mind, Call the Midwife & The Bold Type! Watched the new release ‘The Aftermath’ yesterday which I quite enjoyed
