Football dilemma

We are going on holiday (staycation) on Sat for 1 week and it’s great that England are in the final, however my husband wants to drive back to our house ( apparently the TV is bigger and he can watch it with his friends). Now whilst I don’t have an issue with this he has refused point blank to take his own car (we were planning on taking one car on holiday) and insists on leaving me at the cottage with four children under the age of 10yrs without any transport. Am I being unreasonable to insist that if he must watch the football at home he at least takes his own bloomin’ car!!

@Swallowridge

You will have no car for Sunday and most of Monday ( being realistic). Unless there are two days of activities on the doorstep you need the car. That's just the facts.
We literally cannot tell this at all - how far is HOME from HOLIDAY?

@Pumba3

Because according to him “he’s just being practical, we don’t need two cars for the whole week”. I truly don’t mind him going home for the match I just don’t particularly wish to be left stranded without a car!
How far from home will you be, and for how long will you be stranded??

What a dick. I agree with PP who said he should come on the Monday if he’s really that desperate to watch it with his mates. His current plan makes no sense.
