Not one to start rumours... but I think she isn’t self isolating.

I think she was just pretending to so that she doesn’t need to watch another boring football match .

I don't think liking wimbledon means you love football.

Why would she need to make anything up to not go to a football match? It's not like it's a compulsory aspect of the job,

Yes but she DOES like tennis and had to leave Wimbledon early.
I wonder if there’s something I can pretend to have on Sunday so I don’t have to watch it with DH?
I can’t suggest he go out of has a friend round as we will be in quarantine so I will have to be his “football buddy”

Ha ha OP I said something similar to my mother that she's probably relieved to get out of having to attend some of those boring engagements. And self isolating at her spacious home won't be as difficult as ordinary folks trying to keep apart in their 3 bed semi.

It might have been intended to be lighthearted but it's just completely unnecessary. She probably had a great time and enjoys watching football like millions of other women, no one would ever start a thread about a man in the same vein.

No she wouldn’t. Until she married William she was the weirdly unemployed woman, wasting an expensive education and enmeshed with mummy and daddy and their chequebook. It was only after marrying that she found anything useful to do.

I’m not a big football fan (didn’t watch last night although did check the score occasionally) but even I would be up free front row tickets.

Plus Kate is a massive tennis fan and she will miss Wimbledon.

Yes it is equally sexist to assume all men like football but I still think that no one would start a thread about a man not attending a significant event such as the England game. No one would be saying William was pretending to isolate if he had no attended, it's just unnecessary.

Oh yeah she's a woman so obviously hates football...
