I am. This is the first tournament I've really gotten into. I've watched all games with my DP but he announced earlier he's off to watch it with a friend.

I'm a bit put out because it's been a bit of a thing for us but I'll get over it.

I don't know how long you have been together, but this would probably be a dealbreaker for me, if I was with someone (not married/no kids..) How nasty of him to ditch you for a mate, on an exciting and momentous occasion as this.. Especially when he knows you're into it too!

Me! My partner got a ticket so I don't blame him for buggering off but I do wish I was doing something a bit more exciting to watch it, than sat in alone

I don’t know much about football but this tournament has really had me hooked . I can’t for the life of me think who would choose to be a goalkeeper though- nerves of steel !

Count me in. I’m self isolating so can’t go watch it with my Da as is our tradition. Feeling all cooped up and sorry for myself.

DP is watching it at a mates (doesn’t have to isolate) so I waved him off with gritted teeth. He did do a big shop and get me some lovely flavoured gin and lots of nice food so he’s forgiven.

We have been together 18mo now. I'm trying not to be put out but I've had the worst day and could have done with his company. But we have fairly separate lives still which usually suits me.

I don't blame him for planning something else but I'm a bit sad he didn't think to find out if I'd want the chance to watch together.
Never mind, I've poured myself some whiskey and popped open the pringles so at least I don't have to share!

Me whilst also tuned into a 2 hour live tutorial for my dissertation 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have now mentally switched off from one of them 🙈
