It would be my first ever tattoo. And on the basis England win the Euros.

Something like,

"IT'S COMING HOME
EURO 2020".

Something along those lines. AIBU?

If you're being serious, and I hope you're not, I would wait 3 months/ 6 months a year/ 20 years and see if you still want it.....

Absolutely get a neck tattoo. Preferably in some kind of script handwriting.

Totally do it. Face and neck tattoos are by far the coolest. Also consider a tattoo of Gareth Southgate's face as well because face tattoos are the classiest.

If you get it done in inch tall letters/numbers across your back, I will pay.

Well, it won’t make sense, will it? Assuming by ‘it’s coming home’ you are referring to the cup, if they w8n it will have come home. Though that whole idea is ridiculous anyway and not what the song was about…
Nobody IBU to get a tattoo, but everyone IBU to get a tattoo with so little thought or of something which will date so fast. If you want a tattoo, get one. If it’s conditional on what happens when a few millionaires kick a bag of air about then you don’t actually want one.

I’m just generally hoping they lose as the fans are so fucking horrible when they win.

YABU - sorry! Obviously completely your body your decision but I think you may regret it. Its something that will date and have little meaning in the future and sounds like a knee jerk/ spur of the moment response to current excitement. Leave it a year and see if you still want it this time next year.
Ive nothing against tattoos but i do think they should be carefully considered as you can't easily get rid if them and imo they should be able to be hidden and/ or discreet.

I love tattoos, I have 5 myself and getting another in a few weeks but to be blunt, no. It's a bad idea, it will date very quickly and is quite tacky too. I wouldn't think you'd find many decent artists willing to do something like that knowing you're probably going to regret it

No, not all obviously. But enough that it’s a misery. Friends animals terrified by fireworks and shouting (I’m in Wales so we don’t get that. Don’t even get it when Wales win) and abuse of everyone on social media.
