In not being able to find a reasonably priced pen that works well!

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced ball point pen, please. I am looking for something that is not scratchy and doesn't require endless scribbles just to get the ink to flow. I don't mind paying more for something that works well. Is it just me or is it hard to find a good option? Thank you.

I dislike gel pens. BIC crystal are ok, as are Staedtler, but my favourite pen is the Papermate Flex Grip. I don't like black ink, either ...

Inkjoy. Not just for the ink flow, which is great, but the triangular barrell (is that what you call it?) is bigger and more comfortable to hold - I write all day sometimes whilst interviewing, definitely the best.

Muji Gel Ink ballpoint pen. I prefer the 0.5mm but other sizes are available. I’ve practically written my entire masters dissertation with them and son has just used them for his final school exams. Refills are available and are now universal meaning if you don’t like the size you pick you can change it without having to buy new pens. They also have pen bodies available - which is use fik if you have a dog like mine who is obsessed with stealing them for a good chew!
