To feel really down about going to soft play on my own?

I’m taking my 3 year old tomorrow, on my own again…I went last week, by myself…and two weeks before, again on my own.
I look around and see people chatting on tables together, friends meeting up and I have no one. I ask the few mum friends I have and they usually say they’re busy doing something else, so can’t make it Sad
Last time I was literally the only person sitting by myself while my son was off playing.

You don't just have to ask your mum friends. A friend with a baby has asked me along to that sort of thing a few times and I have been delighted to go. It means I get to experience things I never thought I would, because I can't have children, but moreover I just enjoy it!

I was the same.
It was miserable then. I used to take my knitting.

Trouble is I'm still virtually friendless. I have tried, but it never lasts. It's lonely.

I always go to soft play alone. Don’t feel bad , it’s normal . I don’t have any local mum friends . I’m usually the only one by myself but I don’t mind . I usually end up chatting to a few other mums . I hope I start making friends soon though ! I’m feeling a bit lonely sometimes but there is nothing wrong with going to soft play alone .
