Please could anyone recommend a non alcoholic dry white wine that doesn't taste like apple juice.

Ive started drinking gordons and tanqueray zero gins and they are really quite good. Go on to wine after but means i drink less alcohol.

Apparently Aqua Libra has been relaunched (flavoured though)

I like elderflower and tonic, AF beers, or just sugar free pops like ginger beer or grapefruit soda.

I couldn’t get on with kombucha or any of the AF wines.

when I drank it was mainly red wine, cava, vodka tonic or craft beers. The latter is poorly represented in the AF options too although Guiness 0% is pretty good.

Non alcoholic wine

tried a few no/low alcohol wines for when i'm driving - not found anything drinkable - and it hacks me off that some are almost the same cost as wine - and the wine would have just over £2.20 duty on it.
Agree that konbucha is a great unsweet non alcoholic drink to have with meals instead of wine.

Also, dalston press rhubarb drink served in a champagne flute is quite acceptable (tastes nothing like dalston press rhubarb served in an ordinary glass😆)

I have given up wine , tried coop nozecco which I found the best sparkling , however I suffered with a chronic sugar headache, any updates on the wines ( seeing this is an old post )

Noseco tastes like a Bellini that’s been sitting on a table in all bar one for three hours but I’ve sort of got a taste for it now. The best is the no alcohol Frexienet but it’s always out of stock.

never found a good non fizzy wine one. I’ve just started necking fever tree in the evenings.

Thompson & Scott Noughty white sparkling is a good Prosecco substitute. All their others are too sweet for me.

Aliciamia100 · 17/05/2023 09:03

Thanks , what is fever tree ?

mildlydispeptic · 17/05/2023 09:22

Fever tree is a naice brand of tonic water and other mixers

Aliciamia100 · 17/05/2023 09:24

I think il try it 👍

McGuigans white (a Sauvignon, I believe) and their red (Shiraz) are both very good.
Haven't tried their rose or Chardonnay varieties.

Just to say I tried the Jukes and absolutely hated it. Tried to offload it to my sister but she felt the same. £70 down the drain - literally.
