To hang my washing out at night

My morning routine is always busy and I never seem to have time to hang the washing out which is a nuisance especially during the hot weather. Aibu to start hanging my washing out before dark with the idea being that the next evening it will be dry?

It will get darker and willied by spiders… don’t do it!😂

It should be a perfectly sensible thing to do but it just feels so... weird. So much so that to me ‘getting darked on’ didn’t need any explaining 😂

I tried it the other week on a hot night.
It didn't work for me - it wasn't dry in the morning!

I've just hung mine out!

I was going to do the same this evening for the same reason as you, but my cycle is still going

Spider jizz in my knickers, vom. No way is my washing being left out overnight.

The darking and spider willy dragging is sterilised by the hours it spends in sparkling sunlight the next day.

Just don't leave anything hanging low enough for foxes to wear to their parties then discard on the lawn at dawn.

I do it all the time - I leave just after 7am if I’m in the office so don’t have time to hang it out. Didn’t know there were so many inherent dangers associated with this tomfoolery until I saw the warnings on Mumsnet - but I spit in the face of danger.
