This is wedding like apart from the company logo, if initials could be on there it would be sweet

SingingInTheShithouse · 17/06/2021 07:21

Is this a thing now Confused

Oblomov21 · 17/06/2021 07:21

Must be a new thang. I don't like it.

breadbinbaby · 17/06/2021 07:25

Who’s insisting? These comments are so pathetic! Do you think the same when someone posts ‘DH is going to get me a running watch for Christmas, should I get a Garmin or a Fitbit?’ variations of which are posted literally every day from November onwards!

Nishky · 17/06/2021 07:35

@Taskmasterlover Tiffany do one similar to the one you posted if you definitely want pearls

Apologies if Tiffany isn’t your thing. I have now found several bracelets that I want on their site

MyNameForToday1980 · 17/06/2021 07:39

For dainty jewelry I always look at Melanie Casey. In the US so shipping might take a while (depending where you are).

DH has bought me a bracelet and an eternity ring from there over the last few years.

Oh OP, this is Mumsnet. Don't you know your wedding must be a quick signing of the register and a one course meal for immediate family?

🤣🤣🤣

Zari29 · 17/06/2021 07:46

Op dh and I did the same. We got each other watches that are still well worn today. I think its a lovely idea.

TurdCrapley · 17/06/2021 07:55

Wow, some people are so bitter and nasty!

Sorry I don't have any recommendations but my fiancé and I are buying presents for each other, getting married in July. It's a lovely thing to do and you'll treasure your bracelet forever.

Hope you have a wonderful wedding day, OP💕🥳👰‍♀️🥰

Am baffled by this thread (and knew if would be full of snotty people). I’m ancient and have known about people buying each other gifts on their wedding day since Times Of Yore. It’s very traditional.

Lovely bracelet OP. Check out Chanel Exclusifs for really special perfumes.

Thanks for all the lovely messages and suggestions! I really liked this one www.tiffany.co.uk/jewelry/bracelets/elsa-peretti-pearls-by-the-yard-bracelet-GRP02383/ so going to keep an eye if it comes back in stock, also seen some lovely pieces on missoma and mikimoto!

My exh and I bought presents 20 odd years ago. It's not a new thing. But shouldn't he choose it for you?

DocsOddSocks · 17/06/2021 08:30

@Taskmasterlover My husband bought me a bottle of the perfume I wore on our first date and gave it to me the day before our wedding. I loved that! Smile

LivingLaVidaCovid · 17/06/2021 08:34

The tiffany ones shared are nice.

Maybe consider Costco...

I would go for gold rather than filled gold if you get the one in the link.
I got some earrings from my DH on my wedding day.

Taskmasterlover · 17/06/2021 08:53

For all those saying about letting him choose, I love my HTB dearly but there is no way I'd let him pick me some jewellery for our wedding day without any kind of direction

OP posts:
ScottishNewbie · 18/06/2021 11:42

OP's future DH told her to choose something more expensive.
Probably because he wants this to be a meaningful gift that she will cherish for years. A bracelet at that price clearly won't.

People are so nasty!

And I agree, my Fiance would NEVER even dream of choosing jewellery for me with no direction. He has rather interesting ideas lol
