To think that it is absolutely unforgivable for the Prime Minister to have a Health Secretary in place during a deadly pandemic whom he thinks is 'totally f---ing hopeless'?

Just that really.

news.sky.com/story/boris-johnson-called-matt-hancock-totally-f-hopeless-in-whatsapp-message-cummings-says-12333915

The worst is that I am almost beyond being shocked.

Everyone needs a patsy?

Who can fathom the mind of the great self seving egomaniac...

Pot calling the kettle black.

Fuckingcrustybread · 16/06/2021 13:15

Last year there was umpteen threads about the disgraceful disgusting lying Dominic Cummings, now he's being hailed all the truth teller of all time. He can't be both.

DogsSausages · 16/06/2021 13:15

Does it actually say "MH is f hopeless. I dont understand why anyone in the government discuss health issues via wattsapp. Not defending anyone but it seems a really strange way to discuss official business.

DioneTheDiabolist · 16/06/2021 13:16

Matt Hancock is well useful to BJ. A human shield right now, scapegoat in the run up to the election.

ThreeFeetTall · 16/06/2021 13:23

Johnson could only pick from people that voted brexit. He only had a 6 people to choose from.

ThreeFeetTall · 16/06/2021 13:23

Although actually hancock votes remain so now I have no idea why they worked together

What? Of course he can. I don't know anyone that either tells the truth or lies 100% of the time.
Orf1abc · 16/06/2021 13:26

We all know Cummings is a liar, but even liars tell the truth sometimes. Like Johnson calling Hancock fucking hopeless, even the worst serial liars tell the truth occasionally.

ASchuylerSister · 16/06/2021 13:26

I can’t work out what Boris is agreeing about when he says ‘Agree about Vallance and Whitty’.

What had Cummings said about them?

hamstersarse · 16/06/2021 13:29

Cummings is a schnide. As we would say in Manchester

Let’s hope this finally blows the lid off the entire charade

He could be
Clickbait · 16/06/2021 13:39

Personally I'd trust Matt Hancock over Dom Cummings. I'm not saying he's anything special but Cummings really is the lowest of the low.

This a thousand times over. How’s come Cummings is suddenly a paragon of virtue and truth telling?

Edited in the sense that all context controlled - what was he saying about Vallance and Witty, for example?
Livingtothefull · 16/06/2021 14:13

Boris Johnson was saying recently that he had 'full confidence' in Hancock www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-57276006

So he must have been lying then....quelle surprise.

Hancock was like a rabbit in the headlights when Covid kicked off. He has struggled all the way through. I'm not sure Boris had any option but to keep him in the job due to lack of competent loyal alternatives not in the T May camp. Hancock may takethe blame but many of the decisions were by Boris and the Cabinet. We don't know if he was overruled by them and bad results blamed on him.

eddiemairswife · 16/06/2021 14:38

Jeremy Hunt would have been a better choice. In fact Jeremy Hunt would be a better PM, and I'm not even a Conservative voter.

MorrisZapp · 16/06/2021 14:42

Sharing private messages is as low as it gets. Anyone criticising should share their private WhatsApp account so we can all see the difference between their public and private personae.

Chloemol · 16/06/2021 14:43

Let’s be honest we are only seeing what they want us to see

We have no idea what the context is, what was said either said of any supposed conversation

Move on

PeterG11 · 16/06/2021 15:03

The common thread is that the media is attacking the government. They hated and attacked Cummings when he was inside the government, calling him lots of names and undermining his reputation (plus he was stupid going to Barnard Castle!) but now he's outside government the media love him because they can use him to attack the government.

maddening · 16/06/2021 15:14

And yet Dominic Cuntings is the one he sacked.

They are all twats but Dom is a whole heap of untrustworthy self serving twatishness that what WhatsApps he is presenting to the media are wholly taken with a pinch of salt imo.

newnortherner111 · 16/06/2021 15:21

For Mr Johnson this is a lovely distraction from his inactions or belated actions.

My lifelong opposition to the death penalty is the sole reason why I think Mr Johnson should not be held accountable for and hang for the deaths that are his responsibility. Not Mr Cummings and not Mr Hancock.
