To ask what you love about yourself

I really struggle with self esteem. Always have, always will. Wondered if other people find it hard to say nice things about themselves too? Can you tell me one good thing about yourself, and how easy you find it to say?

I'm really creative. I can turn my hand to anything creative and I'll probably do it well. But saying it sounds so boastful!

I am a lovely mum. I also have a good sense of humour, and am very dependable.

I am fantastic with a spreadsheet, or an Alteryx workflow.

I'm good at knowing what needs to be done.

I'm good in an emergency

I'm a hard worker, roll my sleeves up type
I love doing nice things for people
I have confidence

I've been through a hell of a lot in my younger years and feel pretty unbreakable!

Nothing really, although I have nice green eyes

I'm a really nice kind and gentle mum to my kitties.

I am a very kind loving and helpful person
Fantastic at my job
Great sales person/front person/public speaking - not my job but really helps
I am known for being reliable, never late, always meeting deadlines and doing what I say I will

I'm lucky enough to have excellent mental health and I'm very adaptable and resilient. I can 'cope' with lots and can always find positives in situations.

I am uncomplicated and don't play games.

I'm good in an emergency

I'm jealous. I'm a bit rubbish. I'm OK as long as I have a grown up taking charge - will muck in and get things done. If I'm the grown up in charge I want to ring my parents.

I’m bloody fantastic at my job and underpaid

I’m a good mum and I’ve broken the cycle of not-so-great parenting from previous generations. My dc are secure and know they are loved

I love caring for others and making them feel loved. Really enjoy buying gifts for kind people.

I would love to be creative but I don’t have a creative bone in my body!
I’m good at my job. I’d find it easier to list all the things I’m not good at but I think that’s the same for a lot of people

I am the eternal optimist and see the positive in almost everything. If I get knocked down, I will bounce back up.

My 30 year old daughter said I was ‘a very clever lady’, the vicar said I was ‘stoic’. I think of this If I’m feeling down or when the going gets tough.

I can be funny and good company, and I tend to stick to arrangements or obligations fairly reliably.
Try making a list of 10 good things about yourself, with no self deprecation. I did this earlier this year when self esteem hit a low, and it helped. Think about the positive things other people might say about you.

Absolutely nothing

I'm very patient with time in helping others. I'm also very business savvy 😎

I'm clever. And creative. I'm spectacularly good at being a leader at work. Animals really like me

I’m great at putting on a front and making everyone believe I’m all good and have my shit together. The reality is very different.

I'm very tenacious and have achieved everything I've set my mind to.

I'm at peace with my personality & my body.
I don't think I'm wonderful, but I know I'm okay.

It took a long time & sometimes I slip, but now it's my superpower.

I'm good at handling finances and budgeting. I think I have done a good job of bringing up 3 well adjusted and kind adult children.
