I have had massive problems with my NDN's. Since I moved in 7 months back, the constant noise has been an issue. DIY with loud power tools every single day, music in house, music in garden, TV turned up if a music programme is on. Today takes the biscuit though. Usually he's out from about 8.15am on a weekend wielding his power tools. Today they already have the radio on in the garden and it's 7.45am FFS! Good job i'm moving soon!

@newnortherner111

Call the police about the repeated harassment on 111 and see if that gets a response.
Need to call 101 for non emergency police. 111 is for the NHS.

I have a real issue with people who continually play music/radios in the garden. It'sok now and again but if it's too often it's just selfish. Why should the entire neighbourhood have to share one person's taste. Grrr.

@OlympicProcrastinator

On the day you leave, leave a single fairly powerful radio on full blast, up against his wall, lock up and fuck off forever. Hopefully he will have at least a whole night of unbearable noise before he gets in touch with your landlord and asks him to go in and turn it down.

I’d also key his car and let down his tyres before I go but that’s just me and I’m not suggesting for a second you do that OP. Wink

Id do all of this. Also, I have an old style clock/radio alarm clock. It has a very loud beepy alarm function. You can have it if you promise to set the alarm for 3 am every day and locate it right next to his bedroom wall. 😉

@RainbowBriteUk

He is fucking awful. They have zero respect for anyway. I have come to hate bank holidays because it's just an extra day of noise.
Doesn't matter to you now, but have you and neighbours complained to the council?

i had this a few years back with a neighbour, i worked then every weekend, he used to have loud partys every Fri, Sat, Sun evenings, usually around midnight to 3-4am when they had enough to drink them and friends would sing drunkenly under my bedroom window at the top of their voices, it got worse after he won 3.2 million on the lottery, it didnt matter how many times i asked for them to turn it down. Police used to come ask them to turn it down, they would turn it back up soon as they left. I lost it when was so tired one morning, i got up at 6am to get ready for work, they had just gone to bed, i put hi fi washing machine radios hoover all turned to face the party wall on full blast playing classical music and went to work, when i returned home at 6pm, he came round asking why i had done this , really?? i sold up and moved after that, while i believe they rented theirs out. I really feel your pain, hope all goes well with your move.
